Sounds like you missed a stage...the one that copies the main menu stuff. I think it's stage 3 off the top of my head

But everything else is working. I have the working frame and also working time. I've done it twice and still the buttons are the system buttons. I'll try again lol

Sorry stage 4. If you still have a problem I'll take a look later.

Edit....just checked and you must follow the stages 1-6 in order.

Miss stage 4 and you get your results

great job, but is it possible that you can make the time and date of theme 5 more visible?

Can I ask when you downloaded this and tried it as someone else had an unusual graphics issue....

Posted

Using the latest version, it's not a graphical glitch or something...Themes 1 and 2 etc I can read the date and time just fine.

But with themes 4 and 5 the font used for time and date is pretty hard to read with just a quick glance over it.

Maybe use the same font you use for "Main menu" and system texts?

Hope you understand what I mean.

Added facility under Edit Current Special B art (on front page) to be able to Audit your Special A art also.

See what systems are without the custom art. (The art with the system info on it.)

It will create two logs Missing and Have outside of the SpecialArtOrganiser folder.

This will help me with any naming issues which is crucial for getting stuff in the right folder. I am currently using the Rocket launcher naming conventions.

I will take a look at this in about 2 weeks....I am currently busy with other stuff.

Ok, forget the 2 weeks. Found some time to sort this for you. Can you take these for a ride and see if you would be happy for these to replace the originals.

rename them to SpecialA1.swf and place them in

Btw does this tool somehow do some automation. You've done a great job expanding what I did but like you have found it takes a ton of time to get each one set and placed. Does your tool take that leg work out?

It is still time consuming but I've done over a 100 now so every time I add a system it's less painful.

The automation comes into its own when creating a new theme and turning them into swf. Many stages and that's why I've not released the artwork as I want to maintain consistency across the systems. The newly added audit of the systemA art will help create a list of systems that are being installed and need doing and any naming discrepancies.

Think I misread your post.....

This tool is all about automatically installing the special a and b to every system. I can flow through the program from start to playing in less than 2 mins...quick enough?

"It is an absolutely fantastic tool which added so much to my otherwise tired Hyperspin setup."

Defiantly worth a beer or two.

Wow so this allows you to change the background like you did up there and automatically adds the text and places it in the correct folder and all? So I have been doing this by hand after each set up, what you are saying is I could use the tool to modify color text etc at the click of a button? Wowza if so wowza

No not quite. Once I have created the individual systems you can change themes at will...just play with it. It's straight forward and there's a brief video. Read the help buttons.

Cool that's. Sounds like the files go to the correct folder that is cool. Let me know if you need other systems. Got about 100 of them, I haven't updated the file in a while.not sure if you make them from scratch or what

Yeah took our idea and kinda started again. As and if people use it and after running the audit tool it will provide them and me a list of systems to complete. I'm not going to create them until they are requested. I think there's about 120 done
