Hi guys so i was at the hospital today to see my brother with a broken leg and my dad came up with the topic of video glasses which would be perfect for plugging into a pc and streaming movies across while you lay in bed or what have you Reason. My bro showed us this neat site for video streaming movies tv series or music now its called prime wire atg or something rather if your gonna use it you will need ad block cause you dont want to have popups and its tottaly free they have latest movies series or even old. Now i never knew these video goggles existed and this is the reason why i never bourght any or looked them up until now. So ive found out there very reasonbly cheap and a great idea for viewing or playing media such as movies games music or even viewing pictures now ive noticed theres limits on some basically 1 type has av out and other cable supports so that means you can plug it into a laptop ipod ipad or any of those apple types or what ever takes av as well as other devices.

Ok so i noticed thats a great deal but its not wireless well i dont think it is anyway cause you have to plug it into a machine to work anyways so theres that one. And then i found out theres this wireless type which you can go anywhere with out plugging in a system cause it has built in sd card memory as well as usb anyways so i was thinking of getting both types but im not sure which ones are best and reasonbly priced this where i need you guys to judge.

ok so heres the choices i found

This one is perfect for plugging in laptops and other devices and so i found and has 4.3 ratio support which does most things including plugging into gameing machines which has av out however for a true cinmatic pleasure view.

pt=AU_Gadgets&hash=item3f2914ffc3&_uhb=1

This one has 16.9 ratio support and basically is wireless it has built in sd card support and usb but 1 downside it doesent have av out or cable support so this is perfect for a cinamea watch experience or listen to music on if you more into watching movies rather then playing games this is perfect.

Relic, what are your expectations on these? Have you read any reviews?

Occulus Rift will be the thing to get if your not prone to motion sickness, or you get used to it.

These are really cheap and the advertising is pushing the size thing, 52 inches, 84 inches. The actual size of each screen is 432x240, so the 2 screens together give a native resolution of 800x480. Thats Ok for DVD and maybe some Mame or some dodgy porn (if anyone walked in on you wearing these and wrestling your bald headed champ :) priceless )

3D gaming, you'll be throwing up in seconds.

Lets us know how they work out, love a full review.

Well I'm not allowed to get both so I'm gonna go with 4.3 ratio type as the movie ones out would be silly cause people would laugh at you and say what a nerd or dork this guy is seriously grow up its for kids if anything but the other one is understandable cause its not out in public and it connect to laptop and other devices as much as I would love to have both there's no need for 16.9.

Just as a side note bro. In that video Giga posted the first set of glasses is from Sony. They are great. I've used them at my mates place for a good few hours. He had the generation just before the ones pictured in the video.

Unfortunately the novelty wears off quickly and you will end up going back to normal monitors and TV's.

There very expensive too even so they do everything and i wouldent use these 24/7 i would get bored of them plus i would get headaches ofen if you watch a movie on them each day there perfect for that i wouldent use them hardly for gaming tho very silly idea that but movies on it is understandable especially if your out about or just wanna chill.

*chuckles* Yeah I was told that my mates private movie viewing increased but as Giga said

Thats Ok for DVD and maybe some Mame or some dodgy porn (if anyone walked in on you wearing these and wrestling your bald headed champ :) priceless )

so be warned some mates are bastards and take pictures. ... ....

I have some experience with video glasses (still own a pair but battery wont hold charge).

Be on the lookout for the biggest resolution you can find. 320x240 is not even close with a 'real' environment.

Of course the higher the resolution, the higher the price. Mine is 640x480 each side.

The feeling you get from most of them on Ebay is sitting in a theater watching the screen from the middle of the theater.

Second, the most of the glasses from the posts above can only play audio/video from an internal SDHC-reader and are not made to hookup on a RCA/VGA/DVI/HDMI connected device such as a laptop or pc.

which would you recommend faahrev i know many say get the sony ones but there over priced and rediculous

Remember; quality comes with a price. I could tell you which I would buy but that's of no use.

My definition of cool or pricey is probably different than yours.

I think you should ask yourself the question what it is you want.

Want see movies? Buy one of the products designed for watching movies. Highest resolution possible.

Want to play games from a pc or laptop? Go for a good quality (high price) product. With or without Gyro.

Want to play games and watch movies?. Wait for the Samsung S5 (due April 2014, google it) with 1920x1080 capabilities and buy the Dive for less than $100. Buy an additional BT joypad and you're done. You'll get a phone and camera as well...

Most important (with the risk sounding like your dad) is how much time you think you're gonna use it.

Divide the costs by the hours and ask yourself if you would rent the thing for that price.

well the worst that can happen is i buy it and if no good i can refund it through paypal

I think you should order one of these at the same time, should compliment your glasses nicely. If you don't like it, get a refund. ;)
