I'm a big fan of  free stuff so I'll grab it. :P

If anyone had some trading cards of this game he or she should sell them as soon as possible since this will plummet its price.

Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks, but Jesus Christ what a huge un-user friendly pain in the ass. I can't believe how convoluted that process was.

They guaranteed one thing, that I will never, ever use their humble bundle website again.

People, don't forget to also grab Farcry 3 Blood Dragon from the Ubisoft website. It's also free and much easier to claim (if you already have an Uplay account).

That's weird, all I had to do was sign in to my steam account and do some link up thing.  I was actually more annoyed that steam makes me validate for a different browser by sending me a code in my email.  That's what took the longest for me.  The humble bundle site was quick and easy.

All you had to do was:

  • Create or sign in with your HB account
  • Click on the button 'Get it free'
  • Go to the checkout
  • Wait till pop-up appears to get the key
  • Maybe link your steam account (am not sure since I have my HB account for over 5 years)
  • Goto steam and add key
  • Enjoy free game

I guess some people are hard to please even when they are gifted a free AAA game. You can even get some small pocket change out of it if you sell the trading cards.

On a side note only about 12hrs left folks.

I don't recall it being that difficult when I played it back when it was first released. Then again I did play with a steering wheel and pedals and I'm no stranger to racing games.

Yeah, found it rather easy with a 360 controller.  whichever version of Dirt, I hated when they introduced gymkhana or whatever. So Dirt Showdown was a total loss to me.

Also hate the whole unskippable 'immersive' experience thing in racing games lately. And Ken Blockhead can drive into a pillar for all I care. I just want to race, for the other BS I can just watch tv.

I think Dirt 3 also had some gymkhana in it. But it wasn't the main focus of the game. I still prefer the older Colin McRae games tho, the 4th being my favorite of the series. Didn't test out the new Dirt Rally, cause I heard it is somewhat lacking in content although it takes a more serious approach to rally racing and is more geared towards sim racers than arcade gameplay.

I found the newer one unplayable with a controller. you really need a decent wheel set-up for it.  But it's to the point racing, non of the BS.

One another note, I can't believe how much they screwed up GRID after the 1st one being so awesome.

Yeah Grid 1 was pretty awesome when it came out. Most races were easy although a few ones were pretty challenging. Grid 2 was a letdown for me cause they took out the cockpit view, but it didn't change much otherwise. Now the 3rd one was utter garbage imo, good for some casual quick laps but it didn't have the same appeal as the first one.

And here again I still prefer the older DTM Race Driver series, they started out with TOCA 1&2 I believe and from the 3rd one on it was called DTM Race Driver.

Yeah, no cockpit view mean no deal for me as well. And I believe the one in 3 was very low res BS.

oh TOCA, fun memories, if not for the racing, then as a Destruction Derby alternative xD
