Sithel Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 I can't seem to get this working, using the script for prelaunch. It never goes full screen and an ahk error pops about php.exe i think it is. outside of hyperspin it plays fine and Ctrl F goes fullscreen. Esc won't exit either, like the script isn't working at all. Any ideas what i might be doing wrong or what I could post up here to show what I have?
Sithel Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Ok, if I just had paid more attention I would have had this. Per this page http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?21573-PCLauncher-PC-Game-Script-Thread&p=264595&viewfull=1#post264595 I have everything working, even offline. Except for 1 thing, it will not go fullscreen. If I press Ctrl F it does but I looked in the ahk fil and it should be pressing Ctrl F, is there anything I can add to the ahk to where it try's pressing it again? *Edit Nevermind all this, I forgot step 4. All is working
Adam1977 Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Hi, I am trying to set this game up and keep getting this error. I have followed the instructions in the ahk file. Crossover - PreLaunch.exe ExitMethod=WinClose Application Thanks Adam1977

Crossover - PreLaunch.exe ExitMethod=WinClose Application Thanks Adam1977 Will you need to fill in the Appwait for that game? To do that you would need to start task manager and find the name of the game process. I would have said the fadetitle, but you've done that.
Sithel Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Depending on who's exe you have compiled you may want to run the fadetitle launcher thing and make sure it matches the one in Super Mario Brox. Crossover - PreLaunch.ahk
Adam1977 Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Thanks I will have a look. Does anyone have the latest exe on the ftp?
Sithel Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Thanks I will have a look.Does anyone have the latest exe on the ftp? Use Firefox to pull the swf off the super mario crossover site using this howto: http://www.instructables.com/id/Save-online-Flash-games-to-your-computer-to-play-O/ Then I used the program that was suggested here: http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?7902-Super-Mario-Crossover&p=290604&viewfull=1#post290604 Using the latest version of the swf file and it converted to an exe and works perfectly but I don't have it on the ftp, sorry
thatpurplestuff Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 I was able to get an older version of Crossover (3.02) working offline and fullscreen, but I can't seem to get the latest 3.1.12 working offline and fullscreen. It seems to be detecting that I'm not playing it through the website, and I'm not sure if it has to do with the way that I compiled the exe (I used "SWF to EXE Converter" that was linked in the above post). Would appreciate any help because this game seems awesome!
Sithel Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Are you following djvj's little how to get this going fullscreen/offline? Which is here: http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?21573-PCLauncher-PC-Game-Script-Thread&p=264595&viewfull=1#post264595

Which is here: http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?21573-PCLauncher-PC-Game-Script-Thread&p=264595&viewfull=1#post264595 I think I've got all of that followed correctly... I have a 3.02 version of the game that I was able to configure to work offline/fullscreen perfectly from within Hyperspin but using the latest 3.1.21 version it just doesn't work. The game loads and it appears the PHP server is working because it everything plays great, it just doesn't allow fullscreen. I'm wondering if my issues have anything to do with my exe version of the game that I created with "SWF to EXE Converter"... for the older version that I actually got working I just downloaded a pre-converted exe so that's really the only difference that I can think of.
Mario-Fan Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Hello! I'm a member of this game's forums (which may or may not be an understatement), and I've recently been trying to get hold of all the old versions of SMBC. In fact that's how I got here. Search for "play super mario crossover 3.1.2 -site:explodingrabbit.com" and this is the first result on the second page. So I was wondering if any of you happened to have a SWF of 3.1.2 (not 3.1.21)? I don't know if this falls under the category of asking for ROMs, but I think games that were free in the first place don't really fall under the category of stuff that can be pirated.
zerojay Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Anyone get this working with the 3.1.2 version yet?
klizine Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Anyone get this working with the 3.1.2 version yet? I have it working with 3.1.21
klizine Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Care to tell me how? I thought that I followed this thread. In the PCLauncher Global Settings I have the prelaucher defined, Exit Method WinCloseApp, and FadeTitle set to ahk_class ShockwaveFlash. I also have my host file edited by having 127.0.0.1 data.explodingrabbit.com.
zerojay Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Okay, I'm specifically asking because others have said they were not able to make it work that way with the latest version. Thanks.

It's possible and working. Try it and if you get stuck post what your problem is and we can work through it. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
Tribe Fan Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 How did you guys make an exe? The only swf I can get from the official site is the preloader. I've got an older version of 3.0 working in full screen, but I can't figure out how to find an exe of 3.1.2. EDIT: Okay, I figured out how to make an exe out of the swf, but I can't seem to make it go full screen. Any thoughts? EDIT (again): I think I figured it out... I'm not using it as an exe. I'm just using the swf and loading through Flash Player Projector. The module seems to be forcing it into fullscreen quite nicely. You guys are amazing!
hhgross Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Sorry to revive this thread, but I can't for the life of me get this to work. I followed the instructions in the module and prelaunch script, and the game launches through hyperlaunch, but no matter what I do, no fullscreen. I'm using the latest version of Super Mario Bros Crossover, 3.1.21. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here is my log: http://pastebin.com/Fv4hRDdg UPDATE: After reading another thread, I can manually go fullscreen hitting Ctrl+F. Not an ideal fix, but doable. Is this something a post-launch script could fix? UPDATE: Holy crap I got it to work. Came across this bit of knowledge:"My entire issue stemmed from using the wrong projector, apparently. Created an exe projector using an old version of Flash Player (Flash Player 11.2.202.235 in case it is helpful to anyone else) and the game is working perfectly now. I had originally used some program called SWF to EXE and for some reason it just wasn't liking it. Once again, my apologies for cluttering the thread with an unrelated issue." That fixed it for me. Used the exact Flash Player suggested, converted to .exe and it worked.
NIGHTKILLER05 Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Hi, i just want o comment that if you use the newest flash player projector version (14) with the program SWF to EXE for create the .exe file, the game maximize correctly, following the tutorial of djvj, of course, sorry for my english, its not my first language, i just want to comment that
