I'm kinda new to this site, so I don't know if I'm looking in the right place I went to your profile - files page and none of the items were the two player patch. are they somewhere else?

other then it saying ver 2012 I'm not sure how else to tell the difference. I'm sure there are other updates for the game which is why I'm trying for it.

thank you

It's to bad I was trying to use arcade pc launcher v 1.4 since it already has a menu to be able to change the resolution and a corresponding .dat file. only problem is it uses it's own game.exe which is a 2010 1 player. guess I can use it on all the other ones.

also vaderag I'm confused about this I don't believe I have the same .exe's as you caused I searched for the reference and didn't find it then I ran movavi (a camtasia imposter) to verify the game was running at 1920 x 1080. and went searching for both 0780 and 0438. I found a whole lot of each number but not a line where both numbers exist. I don't necessarily need to change the resolution but it would be nice to find out how.

If you used am extremal launcher it may have changed the exe... I was looking at the clean one...

Honestly tho, if you don't need to change the resolution, save your time!!

Those files are not something we would host on this site I'm afraid.

ahhh got ya, and thank you gigapig.

 got it, I missed your note about byte order "intel"

from those files I recieved

I found the reference on line 038721C

that one was at 1920 = 8007 by 1080 =3804

on the ttshell of the 2pversion it's at 1280x720 and those are

1280 = 0005

720 = D002

thank you both, definitely saved me a lot of time.

Hi guys, have just been transferring my fully working setup from my pc to a dedicated arcade computer and having trouble with launching majority of my taito collection. After reinstalling windows and thinking it was my gpu i found it was my ipac2 controller that was causing my games to crash. Has anyone had trouble with running these games, specifically street fighter, kof XIII, tertris etc using an ipac controller? I haven't installed winipac this time around but it was installed on my first attempts.

The games will boot immediately when i unplug the ipac2.

I have some logs from launching tetris with the ipac plugged in then unplugged.

ahhh got ya, and thank you gigapig.

 got it, I missed your note about byte order "intel"

from those files I received

I found the reference on line 038721C

that one was at 1920 = 8007 by 1080 =3804

on the ttshell of the 2pversion it's at 1280x720 and those are

1280 = 0005

720 = D002

thank you both, definitely saved me a lot of time.

Mate this is wonderful thank you very very much!, it actually solved my slow performance issue with ssfivae which run on like 20fps on default 1080p but runs wonderfully on 720p.

For all of the newbies I used HxD

https://mh-nexus.de/en/hxd/

here are screenshots of the memory locations:

OKAY...

For anyone that cares, i solved the main issue. I can now play 2player at 16:10

The way I did this was thus:

- Hex editor compared ttxshell to game.exe - it is basically a modified version of that

- Found the reference to 1080p and changed to 1200

You can do the same by following these instructions:

1) Download a Hex Editor - I used Hex Workshop

2) Go to reference 00387224

3) change the value (which is 3804 if i remember rightly) to B004 - this is the hex for 1200

In theory you could change the resolution totally here - there is another value on the same line (earlier) for 8007 - this is the 1920 - you can change the combo of these to match whatever res you like (i assume)

Save the file, run using loader and the new ttxshell. Bobs your uncle :)

Oh, one other thing - if you don't know hex you can convert decimal to Hex in that tool by using the convertor under tools. Set it to intel and short and type the value in decimal box

This was a full eve of trial and error so quite chuffed!!

Could you please me out here :(

I've been trying to figure this out but i just can't seem to find any of those codes that you mentioned :(

I downloaded Hex Workshop, and i opened "ttxshell.exe" from the hex editor but as i wrote i can't find any of those codes or reference from it... How can i change my resolution to 1366x768?

Please help :(

I hate that my game is in slow-mo if i use the high-res in the "Typex-Config" :(

Your kids may be right, lol. I get beat all the time by my 5 year old just hittinga single button as i try tirelessly to pull off slick moves.

So I end up doing the same when the frustration kicks in.

Guys, sorry to bother you.

I have managed to get version 1.0 for 2p. Everything is working fine, and I have the two extra caracters.
The thing is I cant get it from inside HS. When I start the game inside HS it gives me the normal 1p no extra caracters . If I want the 2p version I have to leave HS, go into the game folder and choose a file named launcher.bat.

I have tried to put this file on the application option inside the Arcade PC module on RL but when I try to run the game it comes back with a JVS error.

Can anyone help me?

You should be running the game using "Loader.bat", is it running fine from RLUI? Hyperspin is handing your choice over to Rocketlauncher so if set correctly isn't the fault of Hyperspin.

I Have a problem.  Talking about Taito Type X2, since i've changed my graphic card to a GeForce GTX 1060, (max resolution is 1920x1080), i can get my games to work in 1360x768 anymore (which is set in GameRes.dat of every game, like SSFIVAE, KOFXIII and others). I have changed my Resolution to 1360x768  in my desktop but everytime when i start a Taito Type X2  game, it starts in 1920x1080 no matter what, even if i change the GameRes.  What should i do? I Need Help ç_ç

How are you testing to see that the res is 1080?

I'm kinda new to this site, so I don't know if I'm looking in the right place I went to your profile - files page and none of the items were the two player patch. are they somewhere else?

other then it saying ver 2012 I'm not sure how else to tell the difference. I'm sure there are other updates for the game which is why I'm trying for it.

thank you

well as far as i know

if you played with Ryu and preformed H.DP if it was one hit instead of two hits then its the v.2012

if not then its and older version

On first run of game loader it will create an ini file called ttx.ini, so I guess that is what's happening.

You could run the config.exe which normally comes with it first if the ttx.ini is not being created.

Because it fits perfectly with my LCD monitor resolution, which it's maximum res 1920x1080. (Oh, and i've set "duplicate screens" in my video options.) When i look to my TV, i see that the resolution is not fit, it overpass the resolution. A Example? when i play Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition, in the initializing screen, i can only see "nitializing" in my tv, but when i see in my LCD monitor, its ok..

Seems to me that the game is outputting correctly at 1360 x 768  but your TV is stretching that to fill it's 1080p display and losing a bit.

You should also check that the game is actually running at your chosen resolution as sometimes changing the dat file does nothing or only with certain resolutions.

The only way I know of checking that is by going into your monitors menu with the game running.
