Hey All,

Whilst newish to the scene (Probably a bit late to the party) I am enjoying very much creating themes and media for everyone and I hope you enjoy what I bring to the table.

So this thread will just be a singular place for me to share concept designs, discuss ideas and gauge feedback from you the people that will use it in the end.

Feel free to comment and critic what you will as any feedback is always taken on-board.

Note: I am not changing Front Ends and/or giving up. Hyperspin is and will be the only FE I will be working with. However if you want to use/adapt anything I create for others you are more than welcome to.

So whats next and what am I working on currently.

Well, Racerspin is where I started and I feel it has been left too long without any updates (Was hoping/waiting for a Custom Intro video and HS 2.0)
Whilst that seems like an eternity away I am going to start a re-design on a Universal theme for it.

Also I am looking at starting another Generic Universal theme as I love Synthwave/80's Retro concepts and designs.

Well I am looking currently at the Arcade Planet Project which seems unfinished for now..

Found a great background to start with a preview of it as a background wallpaper and download here..

I have converted it to SWF for a background layer.

Now just need to work on some artwork layers.

So I found this amazing image generator, but does anyone know if there is a way to just create the text without a background?

No Wheel yet, but yes this one I will keep as Vertical or Normal Wheel compatible.

Why is it that the Horizontal wheel option doesn't work for android?

I am not too fond of that sun, as its light and center glow makes it look like a ball. 

I am more of the yellow-orangy one.

Yeah Vertical wheel is the only supported layout. Also I adjustment on big and small main menu wheels.

In no way am I suggesting you limit yourself. Your stuff is all about new and pushing the PC limits.

It just one of the reasons why Android users stick to "normal" layouts

I would prefer to create things everyone can enjoy though.

My last two projects were horizontal wheel based so its time I give some love to your poor, poor Android users.. haha.

Man I just can't get enough of those 80s neon grids.

It's funny how I never noticed stereotypically cheesy (read: awesome) stuff like that when I was actually living in the 80s, but now that I'm seeing it a lot, it really does remind me of VHS movie night with the family on a weekend.

Have you seen this BigBox startup video? It's epicly 80s.

Thanks everyone for the ideas and media. 

I will look at perhaps including multiple background to suite different flavours. 

Or even a couple of different overall designs so you can mix and match.

I am really liking these..

 

I might try and re-create a few and see if anyone out there with talent can create a new custom intro video.

Overall I would like to try and allow people to use stock media where possible as I don't want this theme to linger on for a number of years un-finished like so many others.
