I noticed you are still using the Old FTP? I am certain these won't disappear due to nutters like me that just copy your entire folder anyway but just thought I should let you know. Have installed this as a wheel. All I am missing is your Main Wheel art that you have in your video.

Just blown away by this collection bro. It is amazing.

Does the DB need a bit of updating? Or did I miss a post somewhere? Did you want a hand with it if it isn't up to date? I'd be happy to keep it up to date for ya.

yeah I think I saw that thread about the new ftp, I think, guess I should read up on that one. Since the first debacle many moons ago I started making sure that whatever I dumped onto the HS ftp, I added to my own ftp here at home. Juuuuuust in case somebody fat clicked something. Moving to the new ftp is a good idea though. Um, the wheel image....if it's not in one of the folders then i'll look for it tonight, it's somewhere.

In regards to the DB file, your totally correct I haven't touched that in a while, I just click the display wheel only option on my build box. So feel free to update it as you see fit sir, would be much appreciated.

I'll also upload Dragon Spirit, that ones not up yet.

Thanks to all of you for this great project. I do have a problem with the videos though and I'm not quiet sure if it's codec related. I'm just switching to HS on my cocktail (have it on other machines, though). Before the switch I had MaLa with Mp4 support and no problems with the videos. Now, in HS the Video stays green. Sound is working. I was wondering how hyperspin is supposed to turn the videos for vertical use anyway? Maybe something is related.

Ok... could be driver related which is strange as it works in Mala... can't switch drivers as I'm on a real crt. Is flv still supported in the latest HS official release?

Pretty sure the newest HS release uses Mp4, I believe.

Video stays green...? thats weird, as in you can still see the video but it's overlayed in green?

The video clips in HS are positioned via setting within the theme, for game play the screen rotation would be handled in MAME. Each game has their own video settings that can be adjusted, along with other settings in regards to game play, sound, etc...

Green screen, but sound? Were the mp4's your using converted from flv's or the like? If that's the case it could be the way they were converted causing issues. Or it could be older video card drivers. Try grabbing a few from emumovies and testing them out... If they work then you'll have an idea of where the issue is. If not, well then i'de consider looking for newer drivers for the video card.

These videos are from emu movies. Guess it's the driver then... And that's a problem because it's the latest version that has 15khz support.

Dragon Spirit...

This one sucked, just cause it took me a while for a decent idea to pop into my head, the style of some of the artwork was kinda all over the place, some was painted, some was manga type. Anyway, finally found a somewhat decent pic of the overlay and CPO, hopped in Illy and drew up some new stuff. Not 100% accurate but it's fairly close, with some slight changes obviously. This ones for you SORHP.

Forgot all about this title, used to play the PC Engine version, so thanks for the theme, forgot I needed it. Is it still to be uploaded to the 'Updates section on the FTP?

Oh BTW I was mistaken about Slap Fight completing my collection, I need Twin Cobra also (another 80's classic), but wouldn't dare to request it after my last request! I'll be patient with this one

Take a look at the first page in this thread, there is a link to a google spreadsheet, that is a list. Since i'm not at home i just flipped through the pages of this thread and added anything posted to the list, so it should be close I think. Again I've been pretty bad with keeping track, but that should be a close starting point, it should include most of the shmups that sorph did as well.

To make all these, I usually bounce between photoshop and illustrator, or inkscape if i'm on my laptop.

Yeah talking about that cocktail table outline. I'd make one based on your default system theme if I have to but thought your existing design looked great.
