uwp apps and rlaunch

Hello, I'm sitting here scratching my head. I have setup hyperspin just fine in the past. I have hit the issue of not being able to launch Forza 7 and Forza horizon 3. I found a file uploaded on here that is for launching killer instinct by @Pyramid_Head. @Metalzoic also has experience in this. I want to be able to make these for other uwp apps. I would happily upload what I come up with to help others. Im just at a loss with what to do. If we can all get our heads together. We can overcome this hurdle and all share the same knowledge

Edit: I cannot open the properties box for any UWP apps.

I do not have either of these games... i am still win7 here, but if you have a working batch file for launching, there is a freeware utility called "bat to exe" (google it) that should solve your problem.

Thank you for the response. I have that app and have created numerous silent launchers using this amazing app. Unfortunately it doesn't work the same with uwp program's shortcuts

It's been so long since I've worked on Hyperspin I can't remember.

No idea how to get that to simply paste the link. 

I find it amazing that everytime I come to this site it works and performs worse than the last time I was here.

It looks like files and downloads work even less than a few months ago. Jesus.

Hyperspin is dying a long slow death.

Nah... What I see isn't something that's dying as such. I see all the original old names stepping away to do stuff with real life. Hyperspin itself works fine. Rocket Launcher is brilliant. What's missing is that old support. I remember the countless questions I got asked years ago and I'd sit there yakking away for hours. 

 

Now with this question I actually have an old archive of the FTP site from years ago. Maybe something is hidden in there. I'll have a squizz and see. I remember those type of issues being discussed a long time ago.

Wow! I cannot believe how simple this is. I already had a bat-to-exe program. Thats how i launch shortcuts through batch files without the cmd windows popping up.Thank you. Brother! This really made my day.

I agree, it is disheartening. I have been part of the scene for a while, i just lost my original login infrom from 2008, then created another profile and another after that because google didnt save my login etc. so you would not be able to tell that I am a veteran user by my partcipation, but i am. I think every body has jumped to launchbox for one reason or another...Nothing will ever surpass HS imho. I believe the most frustrating aspect of the condition this site is in at this point is how posts are getting lost. The archiving of the forum after the platform change really borked everything.

I agree with you here, after becoming a father, this took the backseat for a few years. Now that my children are in school, i find time at night and duriong the day occasionally to work on this. I rusty though, soits almost like relearning it all over again. This is where the archiving of the forum comes into play...much has been lost since the change.

Well count me in for the finding time bit as I always like helping guys out. I've parked my ass on the rocket launcher discord as well as the emumovies one as well. Since I'm building a PC from scratch I definitely will have a bit of insight on setting stuff up again. Lol
