guyver_dio Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 Hi Guys, New to hyperspin and the community. At the moment I'm only using hyperspin to run on a HTPC (later plans to develop an arcade machine) and for home theater use I really wanted a clean and simple global theme. Not seeing many global themes in the forums so I decided to make one. Let me know what you think: Note: There may be some elements (e.g. the 'select system' animation) left over from another theme I was using. I do not intend to take credit for them and will eventually replace them. Main Menu: System Screens: Loading Screens: Exit: Video Demonstration: (You'll have to excuse the mouse being present in the video (I had some issues with the recording software re-showing the mouse and sometimes stealing focus from hyperspin)) Let me know if anyone else is interested in using my settings/media and I'll upload them to the FTP. Also if you have any questions, feel free to ask. EDIT: This theme has now been uploaded to the FTP. Look for it under the folder named 'guyver_dio'.
relic Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 this looks great sept i think the boxes need to be bigger other then that good job you could have the boxes in horizontal format up to you tho 100%
BassSpleen Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 Hello there, Your theme looks amazing ! I'm new to Hyperspin aswell and I really dislike the base themes. I wanted to create my own (simpler, cleaner) theme, kinda like yours. Did you use HyperTheme ? I can't get it to work. I'll probably give your theme a go if I don't make my own.
Trnzaddict Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 I like it, but you should do something with that background, it doesn't seem to go with it. Try to get some wallpapers for the consoles and use those instead for each system/main menu theme. I am......Machine
Metalciaf Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 good job! just make a little bigger the box and it's ok (imho) Try to get some wallpapers for the consoles and use those instead for each system/main menu theme.
guyver_dio Posted July 11, 2014 Author Posted July 11, 2014 Did you use HyperTheme ? Nope. Hypertheme seems to be good when you have a lot of layering but there wasn't much to mine so I didn't really benefit. I did it by manually editing the media and settings. I like it! is it available on the ftp already? Not yet, once I get home I'll upload it and post a message in this thread. Thanks everyone for your feedback. I'll try to get this on the FTP as soon as possible.
guyver_dio Posted July 11, 2014 Author Posted July 11, 2014 I've now put a zip file up on the ftp. You can find it under the folder named 'guyver_dio'.

suspendedhatch Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 I would have guessed that was an alternate frontend and not HyperSpin. Pretty cool how customizable it is.
SIMPLYAUSTIN Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 hehe I meant it may need actual Winzip as he couldnt open the file with 7z. I must admit I hate the popups... esp the new one which is web based and sometimes freezes on my desktop Simply Austin's YouTube
