glad to hear it is working melu669

In order to be certain that everything is truly working, double check by following the method in the pic below.

Because the save state files will load a game and look good to go even if they can't find Roms (ie no text in floppy drives).

But if the text is in the floppy drives you are truly good to go.

See red arrows in pic.

Thanks for trying it out.

hello craig i have setup your sharpx 68000 its really cool system thanks for

your hard work the only really big problem that i have with it, if you must

search for yourself for the xm6 file while the roms window pops up most of the time

hyperlaunch dont close correctly anymore. how have you handle this for you?

Man... if this is happening (search xm6 file) its because your roms directory is wrong.

this does not happen on my system

you should not have to do any of this

we will fix it for u

are you using an ENGLISH version of window? or another language??

also........

when you go looking for a XM6 file what is written in the windows "window"??

for example, mine says "Open"

what does yours say?

thanks

craig

(also lots of credit to gamesmame and others .. not just me)

no i dont think so alexmina for the most games rom loading works normal but

for same you must search the xm6 file for yourself too. i think this is for

some specif games where multiple disk must be loaded for startup. craig writes

something about this on his side

actually...it does not matter that the other games are loading OK

they WILL be able to do that even if the VIRTUAL DRIVE is mapped wrong

because HLHQ points to the physical location of the roms....but then the VIRTUAL drive is where the save state files will look

make sense?

(i know it sounds weird but it is true)

are you using a VIRTUAL DRIVE or REAL DRIVE?

what is the location of your roms?

english or dutch? windows vesion?

thanks

Hi Craig - Just wanted to give you thanks for setting this all up and sharing. I finally got around to setting it up and it works great for me. You've obviously spent a ton of time on this, well done!

Suggestion: Include Japanese RosettaStone in your download, so we know what the heck we're playing with some of these! :)

I'm about half way done filling in all the database info. Soon we will all be able to filter by shmup, shooter, platform, sports, translated etc. it will be easier to find playable games. up to line 4322 of 9107 in xml.
