Hey guys! I've been experiments making my own bootscreens for my Mame cabinet and figured I'd like to share them with you. So far I've made this with the Earthworm Jim jump rope animation I found (I'm a big Earthworm Jim fan especially the cartoon) anyway I can probably take requests though I'm very new at this and just started messing around it last night. I'm using Photoshop and the awesome Jasc's Animation Shop.

Note I found the background image via Google images. I'm not sure who originally made it. But credit goes to whom ever. If that's not allowed here I'll be more than happy to change the background. Hope you guys like it!

Ok, I experimented with an MK one it's not the best but it's pretty decent. Here is a screenshot of it. Note the spinning dragon appears to be low quality that's because I had to re-size the image but it doesn't look too bad in action.

Hmm I'll see what I can come up with. Though sadly it seems we can only have one animated picture. But I can add a few classic characters to the background and have at least one animated!

Thanks John! I couldn't really find any Arcade/Mame related boot screens, at least any good ones. So I thought I'd take this on.

Ok, I created one using the best classic characters I could find atm. At least good quality ones. I used a Pong gif I found. Though I don't think the animation turned out like I was hoping but it's decent. I'm going to do a couple more with this background I created. Suggestions are always welcome as I am a total n00b

very nice on the old school theme hunk keep up the terrific work although you could make a border of chars around it just an option it would look like an arcade screen border then

Sure man I wouldn't mind. Don't most users of Hyperpin use a vertically placed monitor? If so I'm not sure how to flip the image unless I flipped the background then find some sort of animated gif. I'll see what I can come up with.

Sweet I could always use help finding some images especially animated gifs! The best gifs imo are the ones without a background if that makes sense? Unless it's a black ground that'll work since I mostly use black backgrounds.

Thanks Darkin! I'm really glad you guys are liking these I was afraid they'd turn out crappy. But it seems you can only do so much with this app

I did another one for Hyperpin. This time I did one for vertically mounted monitors. It's not too bad imo.

Good bootskins Hunk How can I use it?. if it´s possible, could you make one of Megaman X or megaman Zero Saga?. One with the modern look of Megaman X8 will be fine.
