I have a bartop arcade with a 19" 4:3 monitor fitted, do you know where i could buy a monitor that is as wide as a 19" monitor? I have googled but i find it very hard to find these special monitors.

zorg2000k Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Hi, Just before I start to look into this for my cabinet. I have a 4:3 19" for my main gaming screen for hyperspin. Could I add a second 20" 16:9 screen and use that for Marquee and info / data as well ?

zorg2000k Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 So removed moved my screen position and added a 20" 16:9 at the top. Will need to mark and paint the spare glass I have for my cabinet. But looking forward to trying to configure HyperMarquee on my set up. One question I've read trough the pdf instructions but I don't suppose there are is a video tutorial ? Copied the mame ahk file provided in the download, games launch but no artwork in HM ? Looked at both the set up video from sevenseal, and been through pdf setup. Help LOL

[FileName].png use this in your 1st alternatives artwork line entry [FileName].JPG sevenseal

Ok , I've managed now to get this working, Silly mistake that when I renamed the EDS exe I renamed it to Ledblinky.exe.exe , School boy error So I have marquee images showing when I scroll through the mame wheel. I also have some game info showing - althought I can't not seem to work out how to change the txt colour ! its black at present. Big thing for me is I can't get my Ledblinky to work now ! Question , Can I rename the EDS exe to something else and launch via a batch file which will launch the eds exe and then htyperspin on my PC booting ? Might give that a try. Cheers Zorg

Cheers Zorg @ zorg2000k before you select your color, select the sample on the right side first before making changes. you will see the sample color change when it is selected when done so in eds there is a sample entry for ledblinky, all you have to do is click the application label on the far left side of eds menu (in image below 2.1) and explore where you keep the ledblinky.exe file ipc method (2.2): cli parameters (2.4): [ledblinky] eds can be used to load any apps you have. sevenseal
zorg2000k Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Thanks sevenseal got ledblinky now working with both my marquee and game info showing. Still looking to change colour of txt though. Is it in the font settings page. Also I have a strange thing. My mouse seems to appear on my second monitor when I run hyperspin, it seems to move when I scroll down through the games list it brings the focus up on the hypermarquee sessions. It also seems to move up a few games when I push down, strange !! When I launch hyperspin on its own without any hypermarquee sessions it fine !
sevenseal Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 @zorg2000k yes, it in the font setting tab. on hypermarquee, on the general setting tab, make sure you have the boxes unchecked for #most on top. #startup in edit mode. disable both of those if its not that how are controlls being used? xpadder with joystick or usb stick/pad? sevenseal
