I'm also running win 10 x64.  Mine doesn't look like that.  There are only two items in the search results.  As long as I use 800x600 resolution, I can see the main menu and get the two items per page on search results but I can't use a resolution higher than that.

It works, though, so that's a good thing.

I restarted my PC and all is well now.  Now at 1920x1080 I see 12 results on the search and everything fits in the screen.

Hi guys!!!

1st Question - Its possible to config 2 buttons to do some command? like hide and show?
I was thinking about something like Start+Select or something like that...

Inside control config i just saw a option to choose a single button.

2nd Question - I dont know why, but when i try to click in a game after my search, to start it, i cant do that using a controller, just with mouse, how fix it?

My hyperxmlspin has a passcode that needs to be entered when i try to open tools tab, anybody know if its just some default passcode,  numeric box comes up blocking the setting,  the company who sold me the cab says they dont know it

I am hoping someone can help with this issue, I have watched the video on HyperXMLSpin and have tried to create a Global Favorites wheel, this I can do no problem but the games keep getting either no emulator or Rom path errors when I ty to run them through rocket launcher or the New Hyper spin Favorites wheel, in fact I can run the games in HyperXMLSpin if I search them and launch them but I can not run the same games from the newly created Global Favorites wheel even from the screen where you edit and add the games, same error that I get from the wheel in hyperspin.  I must be really dumb or Rocket Launcher is just a pain in the A$%^., alternatively perhaps something is screwed on my system

Hyperhq needs to have the emulator path and rom path included for all the systems. Hyperxmlspin references it in general for it to launch the games

Im just trying to follow what it says in the tutorial and create the global favorites list,  all the games already run from the search screen so why not from the new global favorites created in hyperxmlspin isnt it supposed to create the links so they run so not sure what hyperhq has to do with it,  if i have 200 games in my global favorites in hyperspin that i just added where could i possibly add emulator and path information considering they execute from the hyperxmlspin search but not the global favorites directly from hyperxmlspin

 

i have preconfigured collection systems in rocketlauncher and their system tabs have nothing in them other than a rom path and they launch from rocketlauncher and hyperspin but i cant even get a game to lauch using an alternate emulator let alone creating a global list as per hyperxmlspin video,  drive me nuts almost to the point where i will just forget it

 

There must be an issue with my setup if the games are running in hyperxmlspin search they should run from the newly created global favorites but they dont,  if the name matches they should run,  unless theres a file like an ini file i dont know about with those game names and configs there should be nothing else to configure? 

 

I have exhausted all avenues,  researched and followed videos but my system will just not play ball,  constant missing emulator or cant find roms even though all current games work in hypersin and hyperxmlspin search wheel. I suppose there could be some obscure config file somewhere but i cant find it and the video tutorial mentions nothing above and beyond the tutorial to get that global favorites list functional,  rant over lol

I watched that video,  maybe its not running the favorites wheel playlist games because i havent updated media and filters buttons,  

 

I will try again tonight, it seems to me simlinks is not working for any playlists i create in hyperxmlspin which would be why i cant launch the games from my playlists and get a rom path and no emulator error, strange though that the games i search in hyperxmlspin launch just not from any playlists i created in hyperxmlspin as per the tutorials

 

In its simplest form my error is as below and until i can get that working nothing else matters

 

In hyperxmlspin when i search and pick games they run from there

 

In hyperxmlspin when i create a global favouties list and select games they wont run from the list directly in hyperxmlspin or the wheel created in hyperspin they just error with rom path or missing emulator error

Try setting the emulator and rom paths in hyperHQ NOT Rocketlauncher.

Did try that im done not worth the hassle its just giving me the sh$@"s now, i suspect something dodgy in my system no matter what i try same emulator errors in hyperxmlspin and anytime i try to add new roms to wheels,   thanks for all your help

I give up unfortunately I'm at the point where its just giving me the Sh%#$#ts now, tried everything and nothing works as advertised for me, maybe my systems screwed up and it should just work based on the tutorial to add favourites global wheel, or perhaps I'm just an idiot but its just not logical that I can run games through HyperXMLSpin search but when I create the global favourites as per the tutorial nothing will run from the created playlist.It then comes up with missing emulator for every game I try to run from the list. Maybe its a simple fix but nobody seems to know. I have a professional IT background and fairly logical but these errors do not make sense, and its like here is a tutorial on how's to do this but there are several other areas that need to be configured and applicable errors but its not mentioned and no body seems to know, thanks Ninja for your assistance much appreciated.

Try one of those tutorials but yes the issue is hyperhq set up not RocketLauncher. Go to your settings folder and open the ini for the favorites. Make sure things look corrrect in the paths and exe.

This is a great app, thank you for your time on it.

I installed it as described (I think) and successfully created a new wheel called "All Favourites" from HyperHQ, and then got your app to create a new .xml file and create all the media succesfully.  Renamed XML file and job done. Brilliant.

But for some reason, while my "All Favourites" folder works in both HyperSpin and RocketLauncher, HyperXMLSpin can no longer see this folder so I'm unable to repeat the process.

Does anyone have any thoughts re what I might be doing wrong?

To update New games search (favorites or others) on existing hyperxmlspin list :

use tools / add , new finded games will be added at the end of the selected list.

Not sure if that was intended for me Romano.  If so, thank you, but I think I’ve explained myself badly. 

I was meaning that the “All Favourites” folder is no longer available in the “Item List” in hyperxmlspin parameters, so I cant export anything to it.

i have managed to export the list to one of the other “systems” but then I had to copy all the media over afterwards manually

It’s literally just this one folder that no longer shows in the Item List drop down, although it was there after I initially added it through HyperHQ.

i wonder, what are the conditions for something to make it into the Item list list?  Just in the Main Menu.xml? Are permissions or anything else checked?
