potts43 Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 hi potts43 , vlc 2.2 64 bit version is a standalone version , you need to install the vlc installer version (32 bits) :http://get.videolan.org/vlc/2.2.0/win32/vlc-2.2.0-win32.exe and select at least plugin activex during installation. r0man0 Posted April 1, 2015 Author Posted April 1, 2015 So only the 32bt version has the plugins? Yes , activex plugin have not been ported to win64 , but i've got Windows 7 64bits and with 32 bit version of vlc activex : that works fine. Vlc will be installed in program files x86 folder. r0m@n0

Now when I run it from HyperSpin it searches and filters and a black window with a cone is on the right (vlc plugin) but as soon as you click a game hyperspin disappears and the Hd screen resolution is now 800x600 and I have to go into the task manager to close hyperspin. Any ideas?

Any ideas? Does this problem disapear if you disable video artwork preview on parameters panel ?

When I re enabled it sometimes it plays and sometimes it crashes hyperxmlspin Ok it seems something get wrong with vlc activex , try to fully uninstall vlc and then reinstall it with all components (during installation select videos flv & mp4 for associated videos) For me this method works without errors otherwise i don't know what could it be... r0m@n0

Some problems fixed from previous version (1.0.4) : +04/01/2015 - Fixed --> Artwork4 Preview during game selection. +04/02/2015 - Fixed --> Reload Database Button now works. +04/02/2015 - Fixed --> ActiveX crash during game selection with no video associated. r0m@n0

At 800 x 600 the results window is huge and difficult to navigate. I've tried enlarging the bgd image but that didn't work. I reinstalled everything and now those crashes have gone. Nice job

However may I ask that when you run it from standalone that it gives you an option to close down rather than having to rerun it to perform another search. How is the revised version coming along? I'm trying to be patient [emoji54] but it is frustrating to have to adjust the size of the results fields every time. Thanks

I will enlarge hyperxmlspin gui to not frustrate when many results appears with 3 more résolutions : 1024x768 , 1280x720 and 1920x1080. I will also add a new button very usefull (surprise) But in order to not frustrate everybody with a fully bugged version i need between 2 to 7 days more working on it. r0m@n0

What does the validate button do? When I click it from running standalone it just closes down the program. Love the new size screen. Would it be possible to have the system logo displayed along side the artwork also? Also...(sorry) is it possible to make the columns remember their sizing. Ideally I would love to have more control over that table as there seems to be a lot of wasted space and I'm constantly resizing the column headers when I load it up....that's every time . Great update btw. Love being able to play from the search results! Thanks again

I think it has to do with the game videos, because this does not display. All other artworks does show in the screen. I love the new additions! I hope you can solve this though. Thanks.
