Can anyone explain what is ALF TV Game and what are the real names of its roms (Cartridge 1, Cartridge 2, Cartridge 3). Are they the games found here? http://www.alftv.com/games.php

Hey Guys I have a bunch of PS2 games, I used rommanger to rename them. In HS I have the list and wheels etc show, however some games do not load and say that no compatible file found. I noticed the 7z or rar of the game is named correctly, and inside there is a iso, sometimes different name than rar or 7z. Usually it works but sometimes they do not? I guess with the renaming apps, are they supposed to rename the 7z AND the ISO inside? must they be the same? Is there a way to scan my roms and verify what games are working vs not?? I am frustrated cause, some games work,, some error out and say no ext found? Any suggestions on how to correct issue? I hope th…

'Konami e-AMUSEMENT' and 'Arcade PC' both have the same entries it their databases. The only difference is that 'Arcade PC' includes: Paradise Lost Contra - Evolution Revolution Deathsmiles II - Makai no Merry Christmas Nicktoons Racing Should one of the databases be removed from Hyperbase?

I'm so new at this, I'm not even sure I'm posting this correctly. If not, I apologize in advance. I've tried to find an answer to this problem elsewhere, but haven't had any luck, and am hoping someone here can help point me in the right direction. Buona sera e scusate il disturbo e se ho riscritto uno stesso topic ma non ci capisco nulla in inglese. Io ho cambiato il pc e puttroppo ho windows 8.1 e tra poco windows 10. Prima vedevo sia FLV che MP4 come video di presentazione gioco (windows 7 e un'altro pc i3). Per poter vedere gli FLV ho dovuto togliere la spunta all'acceleratore grafico FLASH PLAYER ma gli MP4 non riesco ancora a vederli ma sento la musica di sottofondo. I'm trying to get Hyperspin to launch right after Windows 7 boots, so I threw the Hyperspin.exe file into my startup folder. It launches like it's supposed to, but I can't control anything with the keyboard. I can move the wheel around with the mouse, but I can't click on anything or exit with the Esc key. If I Ctrl+Shift+Esc out of Hyperspin and go back in it works fine, but that defeats the purpose. What's going on here? Thanks.

I have a complete set of MAME v0.163 ROMs. RocketLauncherUI v1.0.0.3 says the MAME.ahk is for v0.161. HyperSpin/Databases/MAME/MAME.xml says it is for v0.146 ongoing. In the downloads section there are xml's for MAME v0.163 which are split into full, no casino or mahjong, and no casino or mahjong or mature. What I want is to make sure that all of my MAME v0.13 ROMs are playable by HyperSpin using RocketLauncher (well the ROMs that work anyway). What is the best way to make sure everything lines up and works as expected?

I used the transistion tool to convert hyperlaunch to rocketlauncher. It didn't work well (tried 5 times) Most settings are done by transistion tool, except taking the systems over to rocketlauncher. but thats ok for me, because ionly have 79 Systems. So adding them to rocketlauncher is not that problem. i can start roms from within rocketlauncherui and rocketlauncher.....no problem here. checked hyperhq.exe..... rl settings are good. when i try to start a game from within hyperspin it gives me the error on the first pic. i figured out, that if i start rocketlauncher afterwards, that the rom is shown under "system" and the system is shown under "rom name…

Hello lads. I've been trying to set up Winuae in Hyperspin and failed miserably. Moreover I couldn't even get Winuae to work alone. I'm going for WHDLoad and maybe Winuae Loader. What I'm asking for (I know it's a lot) is could you guys help me get trough this step by step? I feel like a dumbass but I tried for weeks now and had no success.

Hello lads, here I am with yet another problem. So I'm trying to figure out how to run a game that needs locale change (japanese PC games) Since I don't have ultimate/enterprise system I can't install aditional language packs to save PCLauncher with correct characters. But there are bunch of emulators that can run japanese games without installing those, problem is they work with generated shortcut files and those can't be applied as executable in the module. Anyone here tried to run japanese games with HS? Maybe you found out something I missed.

Hiya guys! I don't want to come across needy but I need wheel art. I was following simple Austin's youtubes guides, and he offered wheel art with his downloads. He hasn't set up a system in a over a month, so no new art. I am sitting on a few systems that I would really like bordered wheel art for, I am too OCD for the typical art. What happened to Don's Hyperspin Tools? They aren't in the Download sections anymore? I need to be able to edit my MAME XML to sort out all of the duplicates and things like that. I've tried CLRMAMEPRO but had better luck with Don's tools. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Hi everyone, I'm running SNES and Genesis through HyperSpin and had everything working fine with the default Hyperlist XMLs. Tonight I decided to make more selective XMLs by taking two "Top 100" lists that someone else created and tweaking them slightly myself. The problem is, when I open the XMLs, the <exe> line for every game is set to a unique system name that the original XML creator made, rather than just "Sega Genesis," and as such, HyperSpin can't launch the games. I was searching around and messing with Don's Tools but couldn't find a way to easily change the <exe> line in the XML from a unique name to the name of the system it's being used with.…

Hello all! I need one of you kind geniuses to help me with hyperspin and setting it all up with hyperlaunch. I am at the point where I got the frontend set up, but I don't understand it at all. There are only the basic video previews that work (The section in which names the emulators) and beyond that it cannot find or use any roms either. If I could understand how one system works in hyperlaunch and get it to work, i should be able to figure out the rest. I wanna play ColecoVison on HyperSpin but nothing happens, the HyperHQ paths and format is correctly configured and the games runs directly from MESS with no problems. I know this has been talked to death, but... I still haven seen a definite answer I've seen a few vids showing the use of xpadder and startup script to map the hyperspin controller to a joystick, but when I use my P1 joystick and buttons to replace the defult controls it works once off but then I can't exit out of the rom using the exit/back button. Need to use a keyboard l. It's like once the rom starts it takes over the joystick and doesn't have the main controls mapped! I've been seeing this problem on the boards a lot, but I can't find an answer really anywhere. Maybe it's obvious, but I can't seem to figure it out. The roms will load fine in MAME. The roms will load fine in RocketLauncher, but the roms will not load in HyperSpin. I did a fresh install of HyperSpin 1.4 beta and RocketLauncher. It's my understanding that I didn't need to use that transition tool for HyperLaunch to RocketLauncher since the beta doesn't need it, but I can't get the roms to load. I had a year of from hyperspin and now i seen all has changed i lost a hdd with my set up on made back up of roms. So i installed hyperspin and hyperlaucher updated to roccketlaucher with RL_Transition_Tool alworking fine but i just read somewhere that rocketlaucher should not be in same folder as hyperspin can some one tell me if thats right also cant seem to get Startup Script 108 to work had last 1 working great do i ned something else installed to get this working any help be great
