Hi, im sure this has come up before, but my Q button is not working (player 2 button 3) is there a quick fix, that doesnt require me to edit any XML anywhere, I'd rather not have to learn how to write and compile XML ive heard that ( Q & S ) are reserved in an AHK file that is used as a quit command ? But im not using hyperlaunch, does this matter ? Thanks -Nolan (check out my cab build! )

Hey fellas, I've completely fallen out with ePSXe due to countless problems. Black screens, unhandled exceptions etc. PCSX-R seemed ok but fails to run most popular titles without serious sound issues. What does everyone here use?

I can successfully configure standard jamma00 and jamma01 (using method in module notes). But when going through my Naomi and Atomiswave games I realize that for many games I will have to set specifically through the global module settings editor (v.0.5.8 ahk). That looks like a very long and frustrating task. has anyone uploaded a fully configured "Demul (v0.5.8).ini" for xbox 360 controllers? That would be amazingly helpful! thanks

Hey guys. I've searched the web for a solution ti this error but i couldnt find any.. Anyone else managed to solve thos error? Everytime i quit project 64 emulator i get a directx3d8 error saying "ChangeWindow exception" Thanks in advance!

Uuuuh! When I tried to edit global module settings or specific module settings for PC GAMES I get this message VALIDATION ERROR FOR INSTANCE 'ProcessName' IT IS NOT A VALID VALUE FOR INISCHEMAINIFILESECTIONKEYKEYTYPE. Can anybody helpme or guide me to know whats wrong? Thanks

Hi all, I have several question I have been unable to find the answer to and I hope you can help out (Listed by 'priority'): 1) I have a full working romset for Game Boy and a full box set which I use for the wheel art, however several games do not display the art and instead revert to the default written text, one of these games is Pokemon - Yellow Version - Special Pikachu Edition (USA, Europe). The rom works fine in hyperspin and launches no problem, the art is labeled the same too yet it doesnt appear, any idea as to why? EDIT: Solved. Hello, I'm not new to emulation but still an apprentice with dabbling in hyperspin. I am getting the same error message when dealing with a specific emulator (in my case the dreamcast). Whenever I startup Hyperspin I get the following error message: "Could not locate a section called [Z:\Hyperspin\Emulators\Dreamcast\nullDC_Win32_Release-NoTrace.exe] in your Global Emulators.ini or Sega Dreamcast\Emulators.ini" From my limited knowledge that tells me that I'm not properly mapped of where these two .ini files are looking to or something is amiss in the spacing/spelling of the emulator. I go back to basics and first ensure that the entire emulator works on it's own…

Hey! For starters i just want to say that I'm sorry if this question has been answered before, couldn't find anything about this when i searched... Anyhow, i bought 2 pc game pad controllers of the exact same model, and when i plug both game pads in i computer label them with the exact same name and they get the exact same button numbers in game pad options on my PC.. so that is when i push a button on one for the controllers it pushes that same button on the other controller and vise versa... Is there anyway of changing those numbers? Thanks in advance.

Hi, Im a newbie. This is my first time making my own custom arcade cabinet. Im using Hyperspin as my frontend. My control panel i made using Sanwa buttons and joystick with the Zero Delay Encoder. I have been trying for a week to get it setup into hyperlunch and hyperspin and nothing i do works. Ive searched the internet and cant anything to help. when i do a test on HQ none of the buttons or joystick work. I have tried in on MAME outside of hyperlaunch and it all works well. What should i do? I want to be able to control the front end, hyperspin with my joystick, i dont want to use a mouse. Please help. Thanks in advance

Just got the EMS TopGun 3. I know that by no means is this the best light gun around, it does however fit my needs for casual gun gaming well. Hence the purchase. It's quite tricky to get the drivers installed on Windows 8 due to driver signature enforcement in 64 bit Windows and no official support by EMS for Windows 8, however I've managed to get nice working setup. Calibration is within playable tolerances (to be fair this very much depends on the environment, other lights sources etc.) and the driver works after reboot. I've wasted too many hours on this already, someone help me. I got a bunch of Mame CHDS(Naomi) I wanna run in Demul, but I can't figure out how. I found some old threads on other sites explaining how to convert Mame CHDS into bin images that Demul understands, using the debug version of Mame. Unfortunately, that method doesnt' seem to work anymore with the new version of mame. I even tried grabbing the version of Mame they used at the time, but it couldn't read my roms/chds anymore. Please help!! P.S. If someone could just send me the roms that would work too I'm only missing 5.

I've created and setup a multi system database with some favourite games in. All working very nicely, except for game videos. Is there an easy way to get game videos on this wheel? Or do I have to copy the videos from their system media folder to the media folder for the mixed wheel? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi folks. Need help from the great team here at hyperspin. I'm using FBA to make all of my Capcom games work. But i lose sound when the emu loads. Now what's weird is that i can click Alt-Enter and the emu comes out of full screen mode and i then have sound. Next when i exit back to the main wheel i don't have sound. i can only get the sound back if i exit out of Hyperspin all together and then re-enter. I was wondering if anyone has come up with a way to use the joysticks on an Xbox 360 controller (or other similar device) as a spinner controller for MAME? Direct key-mapping moves the player too fast to keep the game playable in games that require "precision" such as Tempest, and it seems like spinning one of the joysticks would be a good way to emulate a spinner without buying another device(I am hoping to avoid needing more than one set of controllers for my system). Is this possible, or do you have any suggestions as to alternate methods that work better?

Hey all, It's been a while since I needed help on hyperspin. A very annoying problem has occured. I have set up hyperspin on my MCPC, everything was working great until this morning. I load a psx game and the emulator crashes. I start the emulator outside of hyperspin and load a disk image, it crashes. I have even tried using an older version of the emulator and the same results. I wanted to find out where epsxe stores its configs but they are nowhere to be found. Please help >.<

I download a complete 0.153 mame rom set, which includes 9,002 roms. When I audit the roms in HyperLaunch HQ it only finds 3918/8944 roms. What am I doing wrong?

So, I have finally gotten the HSLS shaders to work in the MAME.exe via editing the Mame.ini file. Works great and I like the look so far. Problem is, when I launch in Hyperspin, no shaders.... Same path to the emulator...it's like it is not seeing my .ini file. Is there something I'm not seeing? Thanks!
