kizam33
Got the flippers , start and extra ball installed. Took my side rails and painted them black I got a great deal on this coin door from ebay for $50. I was going to get a cover to cover that hole for the bill acceptor but now i want to get a dollar acceptor and be able to put dollars in my cab. I am looking at it as a giant "piggy bank" I hope it works out. I am guessing it just wires to the ipac, The one i saw said 110 volts so i am not sure how that all works yet until i cross that bridge to wiring everything up. . I priced some of those bill acceptors out and it seems to get a nice one i have to drop over $100. Mars is the brand to get and i have to make sure that it will be able to take the new bills. Man i need better lighting in my Garage Time to make $50 look like $150!!! Now i just need two new coin slots/ejector buttons and a 25 cent coin mech. Ill take better pics when i have all of those parts.

MTPPC
Dude, break down and buy a plunge router. You are working way too hard without it. That dmd board turned out really nice.
kizam33
Mtppc- I know your right, having the right tools for woodworking is half the battle and the out come looks better too. I think I will for sure get one in order to slot the 46" tv. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'll post some updated pics when I get home. I want to start collecting the electrical parts and supplies I need. If anyone has anything left over from their build ,electrical wise, and wants to get it off their hands, PM me. kizam33
I have made a lot of progress since the last post. I need to post more often... I found a 32'' Samsung with no remote and no cord for $50 on craigslist. i was going to go 28" but with a deal like this, i couldn't pass up. It was easy to decase and the measurement is 30''x 17 3/4'' decased. It looked really wide at first but as you can see, it was just the speakers. So i took them off. Painted on the metal. kizam33
Found these Boss skull speakers on ebay. They were cheap $25 and they went with my Metallica theme. So I had to make a new speaker panel again. This time circles for speakers.
kizam33
I had to redo my back box because I wanted my DMD panel to be screwed in with metal 90's. I wanted to access everything from the back. The door is a little heavy but it works.
kizam33
I found a 46'' Samsung smart TV on craigslist for $480. This is a perfect TV for this build. I am very happy with it so far. When decased the dimensions are 23 7/8'' x 41 1/4'' x 5/8''
kizam33
Now that I have the TVs, I can't glue and screw it down. I took the advice and bought my a new tool. For sure a must needed tool. thx
kizam33
I bought another lockdown bar. This time a Williams wide body. The only problem is that its the same width as the Data one so my side rails still come up short. Whatever, i'll make it work. Maybe add a small piece of wood. kizam33
I took the head off the plunge because i found these skull heads at a halloween store. They are cheap, plastic and hollow. I screwed a hole in the bottom and filled it with bondo using a sandwich bag and the rest is history. I had six tries at it if i messed up but it ended up working out. kizam33
I ordered the plasma DMD, piggy back board and the transformer. I had to redo my DMD panel again because I didn't know the H-channel was for 1/2''. Then when I put the H-channel on, it was short 3 inches because I forgot I made my back box wider. kizam33
Now What? What am I going to do about my H-channel? I don't have a real pinball machine so I have no idea how the glass is removable from the top of the back box.
mikekim
You could pickup a similar moulded rail the correct size (or longer) from your local hardware store Sent from my HTC One_M8
kizam33
Ok thx mikekim I'll try that. Do you know how the glass locks up top? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
mikekim
i think it sits in a "c" channel up top, I'm sure someone else can verify this for you.
kizam33
So I wanted to get the artwork on while I wait for Zebs force feedback package , then work on the inside. I figured it would be easier to apply the artwork on the cab being able to lay it down on its side. Got it in the house now the wood work is done. Thx wife. ? There is one bad part about having two different sides of artwork. One never gets seen if you put it against a wall ?. Once she is done, she will have her own room. ? kizam33
I wanted to temporarily hook up just the buttons and the coin door to ipac because people were coming over and I didn't want to leave them hanging hitting a keyboard. It was fun finding what wires went to what for the coin door. They all look the same but if you look close, there are fine lines to make them different. dfwArcade
Awesome! Wow man that artwork did come out stellar, what a tribute!! I've been anxious to see those decals on your build so defiantly worth the wait. Thanks for hiring me to bring that bad boy design to life. Pretty awesome when you think about it, from the sketches you sent me to evolving into this idea you had rockin' in your skull. Now seeing it all flushed out for the world to see... a true work of metal art. We covered a lot of songs and ideas from the band into a unique and super cool looking pin-dude concert festival. The front just kills me , I hope the guys in the band can catch a look at it someday. I've done over fifty different designs now & it's still one of my favorites. Pin-dudes will always bring a smile to my face and be something special for me to achieve. Thank you, Rock On & all the best!
kizam33
dfwArcade- Thx for the kind words. That would be awesome if the band saw themselves as little pin-dudes. lol. Man, I would hate to see them sign the cab. Thank you for all your hard work, your the man. It was quiet a journey we had. Don't get it twisted, I still might hit you up later for the DMD panel and the inside walls above the TV.
