Pcfx retroarch bios?

Don't use Retroarch for PC-FX. Some games work but a lot of them with let you start the game and think it works, but at some point in the game, especially during cut scenes, you will get a black screen.

Use Medafen instead.

I was using mednafen pcfx. Is there another one? Any bios ?

I believe I have everything set up correctly but I can't seem to get a game to boot. Everything shows up in my Hyperspin set and when I click on a game

I go to the PC-FX boot screen but for the life of me I can't figure out how to start the game from there. Any help on this would be awesome

Anyone have any ideas? When I launch a game should it be booting directly into the game or is it

supposed to go to a pcfx load screen first? If it supposed to go to this loading screen than how do you

move the little hand from the bottom right hand corner to the center of the screen to launch the game?

I have tried hooking up a mouse and key board but still no luck?Just trying to figure out if my roms or bad

or if I maybe have the wrong bios although I have been reading that if you do have the wrong bios you will

just get a black screen but that is not the case? Any feedback on this would be much appreciated

it supposed to go to boot screen then I use my d pad to move cursor around and the a button to start game. I just usually hit a button when i load a game because arrow is on the game already.

Thanks for the reply badhemi. Does the controller come preconfigured like it does for most of the other retroarch cores?

I can't move my cursor at all, it's like it's stuck down in left hand corner? I do have a second shield, maybe I will try with another controller

Just a quick update. Tried another controller but still the same issue. Tried to boot it up on my secondary shield and

it works just like how you said, cursor is right over the start button. Not sure why Im having this issue on my main

shield, will probably try uninstalling and reinstalling retroarch

Finally got it going. Not sure if anyone else has had this issue but I store all my bios files on my internal storage under my system folder in retroarch, my games

are on an external hard drive. As soon as I moved my roms to my internal storage it worked, full support with the controller. So I don't know if for this system you need

your bios on the same drive as your roms or if this is just some weird bug but I hope this helps anyone else that runs into this same problem

must have been a bug because I have my roms on external drive and my bios on my shield retroarch system file

Can someone tell me the correct ini settings they used to get the game to boot directly from the Hyperspin game wheel? I have every single thing working, game boots, controllers work, all games work but only if I'm loading a game from Retroarch only. When I try to load that same game from the Hyperspin it appears to start and then just goes right back to the game wheel. I figured I misspelled something in the parameters line but everything is correct. I'm using Mednafen PC-FX.

Thanks, but games still won't start for me though. I usually leave the path line empty because I read somewhere that it really doesn't do anything for the Android version of Hyperspin and all my other systems work with a empty path line. Maybe I need to delete the dash from "PC-FX"? That's how it was named in the Hypersync so I just rolled with that naming. Here's my ini settings
