I wonder if they added in dual lightgun support....but I look more forward to the dx11 gpu fixes. Either way I'm glad they released it. Now hopefully our Naomi emulation can improve even more! I need you guys to do testing on existing games to see if its as good as 56 or better since 57 was worse than 56 in stability, but added support for a few new games. But correct aspect ratio is still broken...play any of the vertical games and they are still stretched out. Plus this version is kicking the shit out of my video card. Might need to upgrade. Here are some people's thoughts on the new Demul 0.58. Looks promising for a new module. brolly Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 By the time I'm ready to buy a new machine (ie when I have my HS setup almost the way I want it) I'm sure Win7 and Win8 will be obsolete already Everything plays fine in XP, so unless developers start using DX11 only like the Demul guys did there's no major reason to change for me.

jcm9800 Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 hello guys now i have the first test phase with the new demul build and i must say that it blows me away the picture quality is a great step in the ride side now you can chance your internal resolution up for 6 times this is really great even when you set up the resolution 2 times the picture is most sharper really great for now i tried capcom vs snk millenium fight the only one that had issues in dx 11 and i set it to dx 10 and there it works great the rest toy fighter, dead or alive 2,18 wheeler bad that you can not drive .-) and death crimson on naomi board runs great the only issue that i see sometimes at the start you have to enable the first hack in game you can turn it off i have also tried demolish fist and dolphin blue from atomiswave the are running really much better from naomi 2 i have tried out virta fighter 4 thats looks much better and is a lot better playable then at demul 0.57 okay that was my first impression when i have tried out more i will report it to if anyone wants that try it out its really a big step forward and there are also more revisions of some games [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Unless you are using a CRT and you have to contend with Win7's interlace problem. Hopefully Goovymame's creater comes up with a fix in the next year or so. After that there will be no reason to stay with XP.

On 0.58 for me, my cpu is getting used a lousy 12-20% usage yet games are stuttering bad, on 0.57 they are smooth as butter. I'm convinced my video card is bottlenecking this because they have seemed to add alot of new gpu emulation which, as they say the more accurate the emulation gets the slower it will become. I'm on a ATI 6570 btw. It seems this emu is very dependent on powerful gpu hardware and not so much processor power. I am......Machine
