I updated the thread's title, but the rest you need to do. Also, not a good idea to distribute an ini with roms_only set to true, as HS crashes when entering a wheel and not having the roms or not a valid rom path. This can lead to confusion as to why this is occurring. Your video doesn't fill the screen in the console window on the main menu theme btw. its cut off and dis-proportioned, which even your screenshots above show that. zerojay Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Also, please remember that theme zip files should have compression set to Store, otherwise Hypertheme cannot open the zip file. I'll see what I can do to fix this one up a bit. EDIT: It's not great, but it's better, also added a little animation to the logo to give it a bit of life. Download: Hartung Game Master.zip

Took a few of the simplistic graphics and threw them in. The blocks rain down, the shooter hovers slowly horizontally. Looks a lot more lively. Still not great, but hey. This is what I hoped would happen when I uploaded these projects. djvj - I will name everything correctly from now on zerojay - I will zip themes correctly I appreciate the module help, I don't know enough to write them could the theme have blocks and characters falling instead of hovering? Just a random cascade of game characters?
zerojay Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 The reason I have the character hovering left and right is kind of to simulate how you would run across him in-game. The blocks do rain down. I'm not a theme expert, so I couldn't really answer you on the random part.

I shrank it and left it with a white border instead of box. added a falling "flying" spaceship along with the blocks (has a kind of asteroids feel). took the white opacity down to 65 so it clashes less with the other elements. pulse effect and soldier removed (felt too busy). better or worse? uploaded new theme to my ftp folder

My folders been deleted multiple times so I stopped sharing videos. I'm not upset about it, standards are important. I only make videos for myself now.
