monkeychunkuk Posted January 10, 2014 Author Posted January 10, 2014 Yes I rounded the edges thanks fir the advice, I know I think I may turn the shed into a arcade. Not much of a update today just fitted some T- Molding to see how it looks you gotta love that bling Hard to show in a picture but I tested the speaker and fitted the Sub woofer and played Mortal Kombat and the bass and sound was terrific. Anyone good arcade names? I was thinking "Ultracade"
miamisurf Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Luv the Chrome 5 moulding. I did the same and it just sings.. This is a nice build Monkeychunkuk
wazp Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 she's a beauty for sure! does this style of cabinet still look good up against a wall, or does the curve make it nicer to have in a corner maybe?
monkeychunkuk Posted January 11, 2014 Author Posted January 11, 2014 Cheers for the feed back, It really hard to say about the curves because of how small my shed is like the side artwork I'm not really going to get a chance to appreciate it,I could have just left it square at the back but I didn't want to build a big box, and I guess it will help with airflow at the back when I fit fans
richie_jones Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Looking good chunky, what size bezel will you end up with around you monitor, the injustice cab you showed looks great but it's seriously let down by the massive bezel around the screen..
monkeychunkuk Posted January 11, 2014 Author Posted January 11, 2014 Cheers Rich you know I never even thought about it? It's 30inch wide so it fits a 32 inch tv (measured diagonally) So almost nothing on the sides and more on the top and bottom. I may push it up and make the bottom of the surround part of the control panel ?
mikekim Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Looking good so far Steve. . Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk

monkeychunkuk Posted January 12, 2014 Author Posted January 12, 2014 Cheers fella Here is tv I'm going to use
tkropp17 Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Personally I think 32" is the best screen size, it's what I'm using too. This link made that decision final for me (scroll down to screen). Like the progress! http://www.gamespy.com/articles/110/1103044p2.html My Builds Apartmentcade Custom Mortal Kombat Hyperspin Arcade Build Half-Top Arcade Build
monkeychunkuk Posted January 12, 2014 Author Posted January 12, 2014 Well like all builds you get the odd set backs. Mine came today when I decased the LCD I had planed on using I stripped it down and removed part's I didn't need speakers etc But when flipped it on its front I hadn't noticed a screw that had fallen out, so I accidentally put all of the tv weight onto the screen. And yup It cracked and even though I'm a qualified electrician I still googled LCD repair and of course you can not fix a cracked screen Happy days Sad times Oh well guess I'll have to hit gumtree/eBay
mikekim Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Damn, that sucks big time.. hope you can get a good replacement cheaply Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk
monkeychunkuk Posted January 13, 2014 Author Posted January 13, 2014 Nevermind it's crap because I got a great deal on this one it had 2 hdmi ports and displayed 1080p

monkeychunkuk Posted February 3, 2014 Author Posted February 3, 2014 Well because of " project pink"I haven't done much to my own machine, apart from cut the slot for the Xbox sprayed the front (it needs loads more coats) I added tmolding to see how it looks. Below is where I plan to cut the batman logo so I can show off the PC Loads to do before I can fit back on the machine ,centre the Xbox fit the shelf to fit it on correctly so it's centre
