It´s a great game, but not a great remake, the 80´s music is awesome , but the best remake ever is the gameboy advance version.

I grabbed this to add to my cabinet as I am in the process of updating the PC Games so, perfect timing!

One issue I am having though... has anyone gotten the 2nd player to work? When I go into controls to change the layout, I have keyboard listed for player 1 none for player 2. if I press enter to change that, the screen flashes but it stays as none for the 2nd player. Anyone run across that or know of a way to enable player 2? Or do I need a controller or something plugged in to use? Maybe there is a file I can modify for the layout?

Any help would be great! Thanks!

If keyboard for2 players is not supported, you may have to use keypadder to fake a controller on your system, you can then use keyboard for player 1, and then have keypadder as player 2, still using only the keyboard hardware, we had to do this with super street fighter 4 a while back, until they fixed it (or rather a solution, dont remember if the original dev actually fixed the input issue)

Thank you! I will give that a try. I found another program, PPJoy, that was on another forum and used to fix this issue. I will give it a go. thanks again!

Is it possible to fake the game into thinking there is a controller with just AHK? I tried Xpadder and it only remaps the controller to the keyboard... but I don't have a controller. It doesn't seem to emulate a controller, unless I am forgetting something. I tried PPJoy and vJoy but no luck there, couldn't even get PPJoy to run and vJoy for some reason I cant configure keystrokes to anything.

Please try joytokey... If you like it buy it, it's cheap, it has become invaluable to me and my 7 hyperspin arcades, each dedicated to different genres of games

JoytoKey looks like it takes the controller input and maps it to the keyboard. I don't have a controller, just an ipac and 2 aimtrak guns and want to "fool" the PC into thinking I have a controller, i.e a virtual controller, so that it will allow me to select a controller for player 2 while in the game, which I can then have keys mapped for.

I Havnt used it yet but have you looked at VJOY...

I did try the latest version and it didn't seem to be able to map keys to the buttons. I checked the forums and I saw a lot of people asking how to do it, but no one offering assistance. I will have to do more digging.

Well, I don't need it, but it would be cool to be able to emulate/fake a controller, allowing DDN to be played in my cabinet as a 2Player. not a huge deal, but a problem that would be cool to solve. Maybe it can't be, maybe it is simply over my head. I just know this community has solved so many issues and come up with so many amazing fixes, that if anyone knew or could help, it would be you guys!

I just played a bit. I loved the original, but I quit this remake after 5 minutes because I got bored. It's not as snappy or something, it just doesn't feel right.

LOL. I just played this remake at a friends place and yeah I have to agree with Tim. It is kinda ... odd ... I can't quite put my finger on what is wrong. Maybe because I was playing it on a PC and not a cab? Nah that's not it. It's a nice game and if you never played the originals then you probably wouldn't care.
