alexminasepm Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 LOL... Had this modified module setting around. Made a couple tweaks to it and posted over on HyperLaunch.net. You can also find a link here: http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?31302-Adding-bezel-support-A-step-by-step-Walkthrough&p=353607&viewfull=1#post353607 It needs some more people to test it for me... Thanks, Ron Tested here.........got the same result as when i modified........ the screen goes to 1/8. Is there a special configuration on the emulator? Here i setted the resolution (full screen) to 1920x1080.

The emulator (version 3.1) don´t have the option to change windowed resolution (standard is 411x3..), you´ll need the chage window resolution in the atari800 cfg. The windowed resolution must be the same as yours (1280x1024) to work right, i tried 1920x1080 but the screen seems moved to the right and dont fit in the bezel. Now its working!! Thanks!!

Styphelus Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Is it possible to make that window bigger? Seems a bit small to me. I'm using the Atari800 emulator for my Atari 5200. Only Mess lets me have a bigger window but Mess has a lot of compatibility issues. Kat 5200 shows the same size window you get with the Atari 800 and it drives me nuts.

I know you had issue with this before although I can't remember what you where trying to do, but I got KAT5200 filling the screen with these settings. That bloody Atari800 emulator, I just can't get it to run, it keeps complaining about the bios or something.

You'll need to locate the bios thought the emulator... dont remember the correct option... in home i check.
Styphelus Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Yes, I can make kat5200 work full screen. However I can't use a bezel with full screen. For kat5200 to work with a bezel it has to run in window mode. Kat5200 can only be scaled 3x in window mode resulting in a small window in the middle of the screen just like the Atari 800 screenshots posted here. That requires a bezel that fills up most of the screen. I just want to be able to use a normal bezel and have the emulator produce a window that's "full screen" size and have the bezel fill the black bars on the sized only. I also had a lot of issues with the Atari800 emulator. Still don't have it running properly - keeps complaining, just like you mentioned. If it can run on a "full screen" window at 4:3 and have a normal bezel, than all my Atari5200 problems will be resolved and I guess I'll be setting up the Atari 800 system as well. I'm just picky with the way my setup works. I don't like thse bezels that take up 3/4 of the screen.

Unzip it and make sure its named 5200.rom Thanks very much, Ron has got me sorted. He is using a different version to what I had, he also had the bios files in the root, where I had them in a folder. I had Atari800 Win Plus 4.0 working but not through HS and version 3.0 gave me this error, which was driving me mental as I had everything right......I think All good anyway, If you want to drive yourself nuts, Atari emulators are a fast track to the asylum
rfancella Posted December 2, 2014 Author Posted December 2, 2014 That's exactly what I want. Ahhh... That's based on the bezel image file. Grizz made them smaller windows because the graphics of those older systems look kinda crappy when almost full screen. There are a couple "side bar" bezels for the Atari 5200 like the one above on the FTP. Thanks, Ron Code Monkey and all around Command Line geek!If you like what someone has said or done for you, be sure and 'Thank' them. And if they changed your life, send them a Beer!
gigapig Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Is Grizz or someone going to do an Atari XEGS Bezel? I may do one, perhaps a competition

derekablackburn Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 rfancella, I'm going to post some psp bezels here soon, is there a list of games that have bezels already floating around somewhere?
rfancella Posted December 4, 2014 Author Posted December 4, 2014 rfancella, I'm going to post some psp bezels here soon, is there a list of games that have bezels already floating around somewhere? There is not. I guess I should be keeping track of that. All the modules are on the ftp: There is one 16x9 default bezel. There is one 16x10 default bezel. There are no game specific bezels.
