This has been corrected on the ftp, so you could download again or rename in offending file; if thats the problem of course.

Styphelus Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Lynx looks great. Will download it as soon as I get home. Same can't be said for the Mame Bezels. They have what looks like a coin at the bottom of the screen and I have a phobia with coins. They would drive me insane.

gigapig Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Here's the story. I've managed to get scanlines (using Sweet FX) working without looking ugly when also using bezels. The next issue is SSF's changing resolution which also shifts the bezel as well. This makes it difficult to make a bezel unless it's very simple, because SSF shifts the bezel off screen with certain games. So here's a few examples of what happens, a bezel which is 1920x1080 can have a black bar at the top. You can also see the bottom edge of the window on this one but that can be adjusted in HLHQ. Here Baku Baku has completely screwed with it. Here's the Europe version of Saturn Bomberman, I created a 1920x1200 bezel for this one too fill the gap at the top, the logo is an easy fix. So I don't know if anyone has any thoughts on this? I think I have the best emulator screen settings, the worse thing is seeing the bottom portion of emu window and would mean either changing the Bezel.ini or the offset? Cheers

Cheers Gig, One of the biggest differences in this bezel setup over the others is, it will only use "fixedres" mode. Instead of resizing the emulator window to fit inside the bezel, it resizes the bezel to fit around the emulator. The only way I have been able to make it work correctly was to make the bezel to the exact specs of my screen. For this I would take a screen shot and measure exactly the dimensions of the emulator window. Make the bezel the exact size of your screen and cutout the measured emulator screen size. You may have to have different bezels for each emulator screen size. Hope this helps. Grizz Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 gig, why not just fake it and create your own scanlines in the actual bezel..like the lynx ones i did ? u wont have the curvature..but u would have nice scanlines ?
gigapig Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 That is a clever idea and I surely need to know how to do that But the bezel positions would change regardless of scanlines.
