sparton Posted July 4, 2017 Posted July 4, 2017 Hey! I put together a Final Fantasy theme for a friend of mine, turned out quite nice I think! I still have to finish off a few missing pieces, make a few videos. It does not really follow any specific region path, I just tried to get as many Final Fantasy as I could. So far that's 48. I am missing a few video's which I can make, some psx discs and psp art. The release year text is the Japan release date, which I picked because it was first in all cases as far as I know. Any feedback welcome! I will be making a main menu theme and video to go with this once it's done as much as I can. PS - Anyone able to help me find a 3d box of Final Fantasy Crisis Core?! I can't find one and my photoshop skills are sadly not up to the task.
Pwnography6 Posted July 5, 2017 Posted July 5, 2017 Can't believe no one else has done a FF collection. Great idea keep up the good work!
Black Hazor Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 Really love the idea of a final fantasy wheel. The biggest problem i see it what version to use or should we include all versions (like FF1 got 10 or more different releases), if so the wheel would be extremly big. Also include the spin-offs like chocobo dungeon or stuff like this? Also alot of GameThemes are needed so it really pops out.

Yes I did give this some consideration, there are a lot! Do I include the PC versions? All the spin offs? So far I've covered all unique releases and re-releases (PSP re releases, PSX, GBA, DS etc) I'm up to 39 FF games, there are more of course, finding artwork is proving trickier and trickier with the niche releases. Chocobo dungeon yes, Chocobo Racing all will be included where possible. I won't be adding any game themes, I think they look too messy, (the reason I am making this) I don't want loads of art work and videos flashing, loading, I'd much rather go for a uniform look for the collection, but that's my preference I guess. Main Menu theme is being worked on so I'll update here when this is done.

Cause most of em are superior (like FF8 where u can leave the Chocobo running all the time) , also modding of grafics is possible. Another thing is there are many hacks, that could go into genre database too (so they dont show in the normal wheel but when u got to genres there is a "hack" wheel) alot of possiblilities
Pwnography6 Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 Hacked versions could b added to the hacked games wheel. Think the hacked nes version of ff7 is allready in there. A lot of collections seem to run every version of games, I usually just chop them down to the best full version/English version and if it got a handheld release the best handheld version. Just my 2 cents though. Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk

I'm just not sure I want to taint the originals with 3rd party hacks, nor do I really have much interest in them, I mean the hd skin on the pc version is cool, sure, the nes/snes FF7 is cool, but neither are really something I would want to collect in Hyperspin, they aren't 'collectable' in my eyes, so I doubt I'll put much effort on these to be honest
BlackPredator72 Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 Are you still working on this? I was searching for a nice Final Fantasy Collection theme/wheel etc., found someone else on YouTube: YouTube link and on a Spanish site I found some info on which games there are **removed** And of course this site from FF FF game list link But let's not forget the World of Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy XII - The Zodiac Age and in a few weeks FF XV will be released on PC. Still working on it, but I admit I put HS down for a bit. Actually picked it back up just today since Christmas I spent most of the last month playing Zodiac Age on steam Thanks for the links. Some nice things to take from the video, I'm aiming for something cleaner than that (and most spanish HS videos I've seen), I'll post it up once it done.
thatman84 Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 Cool project guys, not a FF fan myself but many people are and will enjoy adding this to their setup. had to remove the Spanish link sorry but it's a drive seller link. I know that was not the intention but it's still not allowed Hyperspin 2.0 Latest Download Hyperspin 2.0 Documentation -------Pre Hyperspin 2.0 Below---------- HS Android Overview & Install HS Android Base Pack Download My Tutorials
BlackPredator72 Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 Still WIP? Or already finished? My Gamercard
BlackPredator72 Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 Anyone got this FF Collection or maybe another one? Don't know if sparton is still working on this?? My Gamercard
sparton Posted October 4, 2019 Author Posted October 4, 2019 @BlackPredator72 you'd think I would have finished it by now considering this post is two and a half years old. Literally I have not touched it since get it as is via the link below, along with a couple of other themes that are not finished but might be of interest. All I've really done is put bits of other people's work together, although I did make the 2 player logo thing if I recall correctly. Rekul kurektle. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1X_6FrwI_BRO6jCkT6fJU3457UWIBdotd?usp=sharing Actually I do plan to pick HS back up this weekend, having just got two much anticipated sn30-pro-plus controllers, so you never know I might finish this ;D How active is HS these days? What did I miss
BlackPredator72 Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Hey Sparton, thnx for sharing! I've got 480 "systems" in my HyperSpin collection, so this one couldn't be missing. My Gamercard
sparton Posted October 6, 2019 Author Posted October 6, 2019 Welcome, don't you find yourself spending more time looking through the game menu's? 480!? I've started on a decent Street Fighter collection theme and will post when it's finished. So expect something in around 3 years lol
