Same here.

Trouble is, if that room is the only room and your partner isn't into gaming in a big way, I can't see much sexy time happening in a room like that.

Nice room though, at least if you get divorced she ain't gonna want anything from it.

Right? Unless she is REALLY pissed. Then she will probably want it all!

I have seemingly circumvented this, what appears to be, quite common problem. Successful somewhat healthy relationship of over 5 years, both video game monsters. When we fight we go into separate rooms and play video games to cool off, and when we make up its usually via a skype call asking if the other wants to play a game of League of Legends to bury the hatchet.

No no boo boo, YOU can jungle this time.

:D

I like the "High Scores" sign with the names and scores on it. Nice touch. If any of my friends other than myself cared about high scores I'd put one up myself.

He spent $26,000 on the arcade... holy damn. I don't even see how he spent that much, unless the couple dedicated cabinets were very overpriced. No pinball either :(.

I can see the whole "taking it to far" thing, but honestly, life is too fucking short to not surround yourself with the things that you had fun doing or playing while you were a kid. Why the hell not!? unless it borders on an actual debilitating psychological problem or something. But I say go for it. In the end, having fun and enjoying your short time here is really all that matters.

http://www.nydailynews.com/life-style/turned-apartment-arcade-article-1.1816727

A 37 year old successful man loses his fiance to video games. Nice collection for a Manhattan apartment.

I read an article years ago that F1 Champion Jacques Villeneuve was dumped by his than fiancee Danni Minogue because of his addiction to video games, particularly Ever Quest! I than read an interview with her where she basically confirmed it. He was always on the road due to his racing and whenever he was home was was playing video games. Guess no one is immune.

Edit-here is one: "Minogue, his former fiancée, claimed that she could not compete with Villeneuve's "24-hour computer game benders" when, locking himself away in a room, he would play Dungeons & Dragons on the net."
