With HyperSpin 1.3 here and all the work being put in to finalizing the XML's I am finally getting the video snaps to a finalized state. I am going to use this thread to keep a finalized list as I get the video sets certified. I am going to try and get at least one set a week out, but hopefully more. There is a lot of new content in these releases, many sets will be completely new releases. Others (that are too big to fully tackle right now or have already been upgraded) will be 100% complete to the final HyperSpin xml's. If a game is not playable it will include a "Game not playable" video. In most cases audio has normalized and video transitions has been added between game and title sequences. Intro videos are also included for each system. One of the benefits of the HyperSync application for HyperSpin adding EmuMovies video support in it's next release is that our two systems can now "talk" to each other. I approached Rain, one of the HyperSync developers with an idea of making a small application that could audit all of the sets against the HyperList databases. Below is the results of these audits, and with this information we will be able to get the EmuMovies video sets 100% synced with the official HyperList ROM databases for seamless integration within HyperSpin. Note: we strive to have our sets compliant to the HyperList databases as a MINIMUM, In many cases we support many more games for those users that want them. The new set is the Demul 0.5.6 version, I can already tell from reading the forums over there that when the new version comes out I will have some major updates to do All videos have transitions and normalized audio and are available in all 4 formats lGcJha5lIQo I am trying to piece together some themes and wheels for this to make a demo but I just can't seem to find more than a few, so I will put the HS demo and official release off for a bit till I can piece it together. Circo Posted June 18, 2011 Author Share Posted June 18, 2011 Im sitting on a whole lot of updates, and i will say that this thread is woefully out of date and is going to be replaced by a whole new one. I am hoping within the next 30 days. Currently you may be able to spy some unannounced updates on the ftp. I will say this though: everything with a release date of 20110601 (06/01/2011) and up are 100% complete and use a new flv encoding format that cuts file sizes by more than half. IE: (Old) SNES FLV SET 654 videos 6.2GB (New) SNES FLV SET 777 Videos 1.8GB Smaller Size and Better Quality than the previous set. Hopefully I can take a break and get the official releases announced, I'm just trying to get it all added. Mame updates should start hitting by early to mid next week.
