Dime333 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I Think "Deus Ex Machina (Europe)" should be "Devs Ex Machina (Europe)". It says so on the box and Wheel.
dougan78 Posted February 28, 2015 Author Posted February 28, 2015 I Think "Deus Ex Machina (Europe)" should be "Devs Ex Machina (Europe)". It says so on the box and Wheel. I thought the same but that is how it is on game base64 too. Wait i am wrong it is supposed to be deus. Woops. The spectrum wheel was labeled devs lol.

dougan78 Posted February 28, 2015 Author Posted February 28, 2015 Oh that is what it was. Yeah i think the box is right as in right one for game but some screwed up at put a V on it so deus is correct. So i had it right! Yay!

dougan78 Posted February 28, 2015 Author Posted February 28, 2015 Allright. All is good then That is unusual for my updates though i usually screw something up.
klizine Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Allright. All is good then It's Latin so you could use either. But since we aren't going to use the old "a" I think we should use "u". Just a personal preference.
gigapig Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Surely you've all got a good grasp of Latin? Hypernent regulas
dougan78 Posted February 28, 2015 Author Posted February 28, 2015 This week i think i will go back through amiga and see if i can squeeze another 50 games out of those wheels. After that i think i may take break for a bit. Being at 2286 is good though.
bclout Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 2286 is good, 2287 is better Just found another game I forgot all about... It is like Risk, turn based strategy game. Thanks Dougan for sending me down memory lane. Playing about 15 C64 games the last few weeks, over and over. Have a great weekend mate.
potts43 Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 I've just grabbed the folder! WOW! Great addition. However, I cannot see the batch files to rename stuff. Any ideas so I can convert the stuff?
Dime333 Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 I've just grabbed the folder! WOW! Great addition. However, I cannot see the batch files to rename stuff.Any ideas so I can convert the stuff? There is no need to rename anything. Everything is plug 'n play. All available videos will be renamed to match the XML when downloaded with hypersync.

All available videos will be renamed to match the XML when downloaded with hypersync. I'm curious...I read the post and it said grab the videos from Emumovies and use the batch file to rename. I already downloaded the videos from the emu website - will the names not match if I don't use Hypersync? Will I have to download them all again? Thanks

I thought that info had been removed. Hypersync will name the files to match the XML. I don't Think dougan was aware of that when he made the batch file. Anyway, yes, you need to use hypersync for the videos to match.

Dime333 Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 The only problem I have seen when syncing the videos is that hypersync will donwload the same video for "Frankenstein (CRL) (Europe)" and "Frankenstein (Zeppelin Games) (Europe)". The video is for the Zeppelin one. So you wll need to delete the video for "Frankenstein (CRL) (Europe)" so that the PNG is used instead.

This 1 video out of 2286 roms syncs the wrong video.. lol. Really awesome. That is why i like when u give my updates a once over. You will find if something is wrong.
gigapig Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Does anyone mind if the wheels folder is renamed to "wheel" so it can be dragged and dropped?
potts43 Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Does anyone mind if the wheels folder is renamed to "wheel" so it can be dragged and dropped? I agree I had to rename it too. I've got to grab about 20 games again from the FTP due to maxing out the characters for file names too

By the way, Take a look at "tank attack" I Think I remember there was some Spelling error of some sort on that one. Edit: Or maby it was spelled right, but had the wrong box and Wheel. Can't remember.

dougan78 Posted March 6, 2015 Author Posted March 6, 2015 Renamed the wheel folder to wheels. I wanted to update the naming on several files to match up with the ini provided by wahoobrian. So I adjusted the names of files (this is the 169 file list I had in either this thread or some other thread somewhere, I could not find it). Here is as far as I got now some of the games renamed may have videos rather than my PNGs associated so it is a double edged sword with this update so you may have some video files you need to fix yourself on your setup I do apologize however it is for the better. Some games I added. I will be wrapping things up as some other exciting developments in my life happened related to gaming the last couple of weeks so hopefully if everything goes to plan I wont have many more c64 updates after this weekend. DO NOT UPDATE YOUR SETUP until the next update. I have another batch of 117 games to add yet and I just wanted to get these renames, my adds and deletions posted in a post so I have it for later when I pick stuff back up again. Cheers!
