dougan78 Posted May 19, 2015 Author Posted May 19, 2015 Well that is something. That was the last one that I had artwork sourced for. Well I guess I will need to update my zip and artwork packs so you all can have the new stuff. Hmmm I will need to gather more stuff so I can make wheels. Well, maybe I will take a break for a bit. I have been pumping out wheels for some time.
dougan78 Posted May 20, 2015 Author Posted May 20, 2015 Ok C64 Lovers and Followers of the thread. I updated post 1. Put up the latest wheels. Be advised of the following: if you updated stuff with hypersync (i merged my stuff with that) it appears some (my best guess anyway) used a wheel set that was matched (not my manually gone through one) and added some stuff that is not correct. Examples: [05/19/2015 19:47:55] [DOWNLOADED] - Commodore 64, Game Boxes, Alley Cat (Europe).png [05/19/2015 19:47:56] [DOWNLOADED] - Commodore 64, Game Boxes, Trashman (Creative Software) (USA).png [05/19/2015 19:48:30] [DOWNLOADED] - Commodore 64, Game Wheels, Alley Cat (Europe).png [05/19/2015 19:48:30] [DOWNLOADED] - Commodore 64, Game Wheels, Navy Seal (USA) (Side A).png [05/19/2015 19:48:30] [DOWNLOADED] - Commodore 64, Game Wheels, Trashman (Creative Software) (USA).png Just a few I removed from my setup that may be in yours using the wrong wheel/box/video(these did not have vids afaik) Anyway. Download the boxes/screenshots from emumovies and get the update info/ink on post 1 for the wheels. Cheers! Long live C64. How did I get 77 wheels updated from 5/12/2015 - 5/19/2015? That is almost 10 wheels a day. Granted some games have multiple wheels but still. I need another hobby... Cheers! oh and this covers most the 148 games we lost from the conversion of my database/set to the official stuff. So we are mostly g2g and then some. The secret of the silver blades box looks amazing btw. I wish everyone did box scans at 3000x5000.
Atreyukun Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Hey dougan, fantastic work you're doing. I know it's a labor of love and I can't thank you enough for bringing back a little of my childhood here. I do have one question/comment. I grabbed the database from you folder and it works fine, but everything runs together and it's just a huge wall of text. Kind of makes working with it....hard on the eyes. Do you by chance have an xml that doesn't do that? I've started spacing it out myself, but as you know, that's an insane amount of text. No big deal either way, just curious. Again, thanks for all your hard work. I appreciate it!

The latest and greatest info is on post 1 on where to get everything. Thanks, and I have not experienced that problem.
iNTiGOD Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Love you work Doug, I'm updating my games, scouring the net for a set that reflects the current official db. Did you use goodgb64 and rename the set?? It seems to be the largest set. (can't seem to find a no-intro set with 8236 games???) Any pointers would be good. MAME High Score Tutorial For HyperSpin

This thread has good info on thathttp://www.hyperspin-fe.com/index.php?/topic/9078-Commodore-64 Dons tools + official db + gamebase64v13 = most of the games all set to rock.
