dougan78 Posted September 20, 2015 Author Posted September 20, 2015 Well, I think I need to take a good long break. Life has gotten in the way of this fantastic hobby and I will need to leave this at 2946 wheels for the time being. Not that I won't come back to this some day. My problem is I moved! and I need to setup a new area for gaming! I have no where to play games or setup my stuff currently(For gaming)! This is a HUGE problem! I need to build a pedastal for my control panel and get a new monitor for it. I cannot even use my hyperspin setup! NOT GOOD! Ok back to the good! I have been working on c64 wheels for over 1 year. I ended this round at 2946! (includes multidisk/tape) That is pretty good out of over 8000 games in the official database. My favorite part about working on this was getting to see games I never saw before, people PM'ing me about how important C64 was to them, this thread and all of the feedback! I am glad to know there are MANY c64 kids still out there THANK YOU ALL! Ok. Ok... On to the important stuff where are the files! I need my stuff updated! SEE POST 1. P.S. if you need more screenshots (you shouldn't there are places to get those named properly until vids are made) Ok... well check out this guys FTP, the link to it is in his signature: http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/user/25641-turranius/ or here: ftp://misc:[email protected]:21 I have been asked a few times. If post 1 links break at some point the mods may have moved the stuff to the regular download section fyi so check there as well If something is not right let me know and i can fix.. thanks
brolly Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Thanks for your efforts man, brilliant work you have done here. I'm sure you'll get back to it eventually, at least to get it to 3,000 Have you been keeping the raw scans for the most recent wheels you have been making btw? Asking because the RL media folder on Emumovies isn't updated since May so not sure if you are still updating those or not.

A year ago this was dump scans to hyperspin from sfodb which was done. Then enthusiasm took hold and wheels and boxes only got done. So sadly andys website and coomodore64hdcovers did not get added to rlauncher. But.. this is a huge but i just may scrape those and add those in. But retango would probably need to reupdate his stuff on pd. Which he should anyway. Thanks brolly for your help on this as always u rock. I am sure i will gather stuff up however as it stands we still have the best c64 collection of stuff in one place on the net imho..so far anyway...imho
gigapig Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Your problem at home sounds like a fun one to fix so have a great time building it and I look forward to your return and maybe some pics of what you create there. Thank you as always for your efforts and keeping C64 alive.
Dime333 Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Awesome work, man. A couple of questions: The link to the wheels seems to point a an older file "20150730". And I can't find any screenshots for the latest additions.

And I can't find any screenshots for the latest additions. You are correct on the link. That was really wierd, it decided to keep the URL link name internally in the code as the old link but have the visible name as the new location when I updated the post even though I deleted the whole line out of the post. Really wierd stuff. OH for the screenshots you are a goof from post 2094: lol post 2094, that is a lot of posts. Dime333 Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Oh. I didn't realize i already have videos/screenshots for 8229 games
