Kondorito Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 11 hours ago, Roadrunner said: Awesome. I have the themes and will export them into PNG files. I will put them together this week. I'll start with the Marvel group and send that then follow it up with the Star Wars and then Zen. That work for you or would you rather have everything at once? As you prefer. Like @Bungles said, the script is just a call to a folder, and it will convert to squeezed swf everything inside of that location that has a png extension, so if it is one zip file with 200 pngs, or 10 zips with 20 pngs, I dont mind; I leave the script running in the background. I have a ver good internet connection, so its up to you whether you rather send me multiple small files, or a big file. I normally use wetransfer.com, as they let you send up to 2GB free in one take, 1 Beer Me!
Roadrunner Posted April 17, 2018 Posted April 17, 2018 Okay, I've exported all the Marvel widescreens to file. Let's try them first. I've never used wetransfer. Can you please pm me some instructions and I'll get it out to you? Thanks! Atari 2600 Theme Pack - Now Uploaded! dark13 Posted May 10, 2018 Author Posted May 10, 2018 Just a quick update: i added PNG_to_SWF_Wheel_Only_Scripts download on the first page. Hyperspin 1.5 now support .swf wheel, you can use those script to massively convert .png wheelset image to .swf wheelset image with smooth flag enabled. Basically I just set the stage to 1*1 and did some math to get the image on the correct position. I did just a quick test and it worked as wheel .swf images were correctly centered, let me know if you have problems with it (yeah, i suck at math lol) 1 1 Automatizing infopanels creation from .csv files for HTPCs themes (look at infopanel tutorial.zip on the ftp in dark13 folder) PNGs to SWFs automatized flash scripts Hyperspin Wheelset automatized template (photoshop's variables + batch) Aeon nox 4.13 W.I.P. hyperspin skin
Roadrunner Posted May 12, 2018 Posted May 12, 2018 Once again, thanks to dark13 for putting this together. I can't use the scripts myself but Kondorito was kind enough to convert my files for me so I was able to put together the Pinball FX2 themes in widescreen. Thanks guys. Dman1 Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 Hello Dark13 I really like the png to swf no scale smooth script, but everytime i use it it breaks my animations!? Im using flash CS6 its breaking pixelate? Please help its driving me crazy. Thanks in advance!
Bungles Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 Some animations and swf files don't function, not sure why but it is what it is. If you want specific animations in hyper theme you might have to do them via your swf animation or go back to png for that artwork file. Yardley Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Hi guys, I've used these scripts several times before with no issues but all of a sudden Flash is crashing whenever I try to run them on my Mac and on my PC Flash gives the error "TypeError: bmp_lib has no properties. Any ideas? Quote

I don’t think I have, I’m on CS6. I also tried with a png file I’ve used before but same error. I’m going to see if I can get a hold of Flash CC.

Maybe some of their common/shared files are giving you problems. I do not know about that error though. Maybe @dark13 knows how to go about it.

paco8998 Posted March 24, 2020 Posted March 24, 2020 Hola amigos, ¿alguien sabe como cambiar el aspect ratio de 4:3 a 16:9 en un archivo SWF?. Hello friends, does anyone know how to change the aspect ratio from 4: 3 to 16: 9 in a SWF file ?. Thx
dark13 Posted March 24, 2020 Author Posted March 24, 2020 Load the swf in animate cc/flash pro and from the library select the image and "modify in photoshop", save the image as .png then run the script to make it a swf with ratio correction 1 Automatizing infopanels creation from .csv files for HTPCs themes (look at infopanel tutorial.zip on the ftp in dark13 folder) PNGs to SWFs automatized flash scripts Hyperspin Wheelset automatized template (photoshop's variables + batch) Aeon nox 4.13 W.I.P. hyperspin skin
paco8998 Posted March 25, 2020 Posted March 25, 2020 Hello again dark13, thanks for responding so quickly. Forgive me because yesterday I asked the question wrong. I have some Sega 32X boxes with movement in SWF 4: 3 format and what I want is to move it to SWF 16: 9. Thank you so much. Example.swf
mrfomt Posted April 7, 2020 Posted April 7, 2020 I'm thinking of starting to convert all Nintendo game themes from 4:3 to 16:9. Just Wonder if this is already done by someone and want to share it? The Atari 2600 themes should already been converted but can't find them, Mega link is boken. Are people still using SWF's? Or are you using video files instead.. Heard that it was the new thing
vampiresaaa Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 Hi, I want to create themes in 1080. I've seen that the solution is to create them in 1080 in Photoshop. Then give it to resize image within photoshop to 1024x768 and save it as png. And then the internet videos say to pass him the script of PNG_to_SWF_dark13_NO_SCALE_SMOOTH Is this really the best option so you don't lose quality? I also want to test with 4k, although I'd most surely use cinematic videos for this. But with a 4k image can I use the same script or will it have no effect? Thank you. Gracias.
