I reinstalled the package into my HS folder not the default. When I run the Integrator I get EDS start in the sys tray, when I go to the sys tray and mouse over it the icon disappears. I fixed that last time by moving the eds settings config from my other machine.

When I run the Integrator I get EDS start in the sys tray, when I go to the sys tray and mouse over it the icon disappears. I fixed that last time by moving the eds settings config from my other machine. not sure, but i believe the old config file is not compatible with the latest 0.8.1, 0.8.1 is a different style of how the it handle files... yes 0.8.1 starts minimized and that is normal but required to be double click from mouse to open the gui. please post your config file and i will test if it backwards compatible

That way, when HS crashes, it will not bring EDS with it anymore. HyperMarquee & Event Dispatch System

I uninstalled EDS and used the default and now I can use the UI.

gigapig Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 Does anyone know why I can only run the UI from the default C drive? I've had to elevate the privileges of everything for EDS to work again and show Hiscore and Marquess, when EDS was previously in my HS folder it was fine.

I had some other issues with Hyper Marquee not closing down and like 4 windows were running which I had to manually close when exiting HyperSpin but this was with the latest version only. As far as what your describing can't say that I have that issue as I have EDS and HyperMarquee on my H: drive but using the older 0.4.7 I believe version as it works just fine.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I may have been ill informed, I thought the UAC slider was the thing you use to shut it off which mine was. So I fired up WinAeroTweaker and turned off UAC in that, restarted and set everything back to nit run as admin and everything is fine again. Weird.
