What I mean is I have my hyperspin/media/images/wheels....but I also have a media folder with separate images that are different than the wheel images....I want to display the wheel images when scrolling but when I enter a game I want to display the different images from a different folder, I only have one hypermarquee folder.

just change the order of how you list your directories, top most has first priority follow by whats below it

okay, thanks sevenseal.....and just to let you know I got the rating images to work too, i'm going to rethink the layout I have and also incorporate genre as well, start over from scratch and make sure I have the latest EDS and HM(which I think I do anyways)...and read the all the documentation for the umpteenth time haha, and this time copy and paste the filters so I don't forget what number does what, thank you very much for your help so far! another question though.....how do I make the background of the hypermarqee window transparent?

got to the general setting tab an select the background "*b" buttons, then select the color on the right side of the menu first the head over to the left side of the menu and move the slider from right to the left 98% of the way.... once done click the ok button.

you shouldn't do 100%, it is hard to edit the HyperMarquee instance when it is.

Danwelsh what you are doing is very interesting to me. I am still using the basic functions displaying the wheels only within the HM.

I would love to see more effects you have done by video or photos whenever you have time. cheers

when you use Hypermarquee, you should open the application from only main directory. there shouldnt require two different folders of Hypermarquee itself. it shouldnt be taxing at all, it might be related to your graphic card? i notice when i tried to record the screen when doing all my instance, i have lag... meaning it too much strain on the video card because of the old video card...

this is with emulator running, hs in the background, rl active, ledblinky, plus 3 other arcade related programs, all 14 instance of hm.

this pc is a very old computer just to note

so updating your drivers will help on your video ...

if it still having issue i would encourage a teamviewer session with me then, if you want to give that a try?

Could we do a teamviewer session please when you're available.....i started from scratch but now i can only get cli or cli/pipe to work outside of HS, HM wont open at all now for me when running HS.....i have something messed up and have been trying for hours without success to get it up and running again.

thanks to sevenseal, i'm rocking the marquees again, we had to add eds.exe, ledblinky.exe, hypermarquee.exe along with the respective folders to windows defender exception list.

yes there is, how about you look at text behavior tab?

my apologies sevenseal......didn't realize there was a wildcard for highscore in the digital text hyperlist.xml field, I was trying to do it with hitotext which is why it wouldn't work.....

Hi Danwelsh , are you having any problems with some of the ttx games screen goes black if having 2 screens?

No just the marquee is misplaced on the top screen like the picture shows, the only ttx games that I can get to work right now are those with the typex_loader, the xb_loader ttx games will not work for me

many ttx run in fullscreen mode by defualt... it help to know that to have multiple display setup you need to run all your programs in windows mode.

fullscreen is normally dedicated to one screen only, exception on some modern programs

I had my resolution set at 1680x1050 sevenseal, changed it to match sfiv resolution and it fixed it although I had to reposition all of my marquees again....would it be better to run in windowed mode?

if you want to deal with more than one display, it best that you do windows mode

I fell asleep once with hyperspin up for a few hours and noticed hypermarqee had like 20 instances up and running. It was on the main menu and only used it for hyperspeech. Is this a bug

it really depend on configs for eds and hm. a bad setup will lead to a bad results, knowing what may cause multiple instance to open on top of each other all depends on what communication you use with hm.

I remember you setting it up for me :-) I have no idea what any of it means. There really needs to be a good tutorial on this for set up but it's likely a bug as my main menu went in attract mode and I woke up a few hours later. I have since turned off hypermarqee and mapped hyperspeech again until the new enhancement for hyper marquees hyperspeech is completed. Thanks for looking
