Playchoice-10 games are done for colors. I fixed any games that didn't have the black/red colors defined. That said, I may or may not circle back at some point and define the button actions. There are 3 gun games that light up a bit bizarre, but I'm leaving them as they are until I can find a manual or some info on how those games functions. It seems like the gun is to aim and the buttons are to fire, which is really weird...

Can the mame buttons be mapped for Capcom Classics, Konami Classics, William Classics etc? I can give you a more complete list when I am on the arcade pc.

Anytime LEDBlinky sees MAME in the System Name, it uses the MAME info. That's why, if you're using RL, you need to change the LEDBlinky name of that system, so RL sends MAME instead of the real System name, IE MAME instead of CAVE or SNK Neo Geo. If you're not using RL, you need to change your system name to include MAME in the system name, IE MAME SNK Neo Geo.

LEDBlinky sees MAME and subsystems as the same list. If you map for one. They're mapped for the rest...

That is how LEDBlinky works. No way around it. It's a pain, but RL makes it a lot easier. Or you can just rename the MAME related systems to include MAME in the System Name

Will these systems that are done be released ?

Absolutely. Just working on the most user-friendly way to release. If you'd like to beta test, feel free to shoot me a PM

Too bad ledblinky didn't save manual color assignments to colors.ini, In the past 3 years I added like hundreds of game titles with correct colors according to google research, including Atomiswave, Sega Naomi, Type X, Model 2, Model 3.

It saves them to controls.xml which is custom to each persons setup and would not work at all if posted.

I came up with a way to convert this data into a global format. If you're still around, please PM me

If anyone wants to help, please test ATOMISEWAVE and NAOMI games. Report back with any games that have more than 2 players. Thanks!

Regarding 4 Player Games outside of MAME...

Here are the only ones I've found and mapped so far. Please let me know if you know of any others:

Sammy Atomiswave:

Guilty Gear Isuka

Sega Naomi:

WWF Royal Rumble (JPN, USA, EXP, KOR, AUS)

There are a few consoles that have multitap which I still have to setup, but otherwise those are the only 3-4 player games I've found outside of MAME.

Hi Guys,

So I've run into a few issues that are, in my opinion, pretty minor based on the complexity and scope of this project.

There is no way to account for:

1. directional buttons/spinners vs joystick directionals

 - This means that, by default, the XML will be setup to use joysticks as the Primary Controller for all AAE games. To cater to those users that have spinners/buttons on their cabinets, I will provide an alternate AAE portion of the XML that can be copy/pasted over the default data.

2. The various mappings users might use for Console Systems that use more than 6 buttons

- This means that, by default, the XML will be setup for a 6 button cabinet. If you have more than 6 buttons and wish to use them all for systems like Sony PlayStation, you'll have 2 options

 - Option #1: Copy/paste an alternate layout

 - Option #2: Delete the system via the LEDBlinkyControlsEditor and simply re-add it yourself manually.

While I wish there was a way to get compatibility to 100%, accounting for every possible scenario, there simply is no way. That said, I hope you'll agree that getting over 80 of arcade & console systems -- including per game controls for systems like AAE, Neo Geo, Atomiswave, NAOMI, and Sega Model 2 -- setup in about 5 minutes flat will be worth the few workarounds.

I'll be happy to put together video tutorials of the full process, from download to setup to making the 2 minor adjustments outlined above...

NAOMI - Done except for the following games which are either non-cabinet compatible (crazy stuff like hitting a tambourine to play) or there's no info on the controls or how to play:

inunoos
karucham
mtkob2
mushi2ea
mushik2e
oinori
pstone2
puyoda
shaktamb

Next up, working on the alternate layouts for the few systems that require them:

AAE
Playstation systems
Gamecube
Sega Saturn

Any others I come across that would benefit from more than 6 buttons...

I'll be out of traveling the next 2 weeks, but hope to have this released within the next 30 days...

Hi Guys,

Haven't posted any updates as I've been really busy putting the final polish on this. Thrilled to share that DJVJ has contributed his coding skills and has created a GUI to make the search/replace easier. Here's a quick teaser of what's coming:

Takes maybe 5 minutes to select your personal KEYCODE/JOYCODE mappings from the drop down menus. When you're done, the tool spits out an LEDBlinkyControls.xml for over 80 systems. Stay tuned...
