Nevermind. I totally forgot about AHK. This one will use Default MESS/MAME layout for the system and then users will need to use AHK remaps to match the per game inputs. Not perfect, but only way that works.

Durrrrr. Looks like RCA Studio II is broken at the moment in MESS/MAME.

Awesome! Good going, newoski![emoji106]

Now we gotta complete that pesky mame list. :yucky:

Yup! I'll post about crowd sourcing data soon.

I don't think people realise the shitloads of work newoski put into this. He sure does pay attention to detail. :D

He has had me researching stuff over the evenings for some weeks now.

MAME will need some attention still, but with some more people onboard we should be able to do it!

Come on people!

Per game are tested and final. Testing computer systems next. Then creating documentation/tutorial video and should be ready for prime time.

Thanks to SpotUp, the computer systems are now tested and validated. I'll be traveling for the next few days. Once I get back, I'll start creating a tutorial video and written guide and then release.

Hello all, where do I download the latest files from?

Beta testing is done. I'm making final revisions and putting together usage instructions. Hope to have it released this month.

Sorry for the disappearing act. Just purchased my first house and the move in is taking longer than anticipated. Hope to be back to work on RocketBlinky very soon. Fingers crossed it'll be ready by end of month...

All I have to to say is Thank You so much for all the hard work, It is greatly Appreciated.

I have been following this thread because, I have been waiting a long time for this.

I am glad that I found this and I hope that after you complete this that it gets put in the download section.

My system will finally be complete.

I also have the servo stick installed in my system and it makes such a different gaming experience when the joystick automatically changes from 4 to 8 way, and then the icing on the cake is that the buttons light up and let you know what they are for.

This contribution will change the gaming world forever.

This allows for a way better experience all the way around.

Thank You...Thank You... Thank You...

What's the deal with 4 or 8 way? Is the feeling in a 4 way stick much different?

In a word, yes. It's night and day when playing classics like Pac-Man or Donkey Kong. I LOVE my ServoStiks

Kind of off the topic here.

If you have ever tried to play a 4 way game with an 8 way joystick it just is not the same.

An example would be playing Pac-Man with an 8 way joystick.

There is a loss of control when moving around the corners.

The LedBlinky software automatically changes the joystick from 4-8 way on the fly, through the use of a servo stick.

The joystick needs to be told this through the led blinky software which has only really been setup for MAME.(which has never been close to being completed for years now)

What Newoski and the team have done is allow us to transition this over into other platforms which has never been done because it takes so long to complete.

Not to mention that it also allows the buttons to speak and blink the controls at the start of the game and remain on during game play until another game has been chosen.

LedBlinky is great software, but Newoski and the team have just made it a 1000 times better and on top of all that it will be able to to updated with more systems.

This is a huge deal

It has just made LEDBLINKY way better, and the gaming experience too.

It is so nice to be able to start a game that you have not played for a long time, which you do not remember what all the buttons and controls are, and it tells you what you need to know to play the game.

Make the experience way nicer in my opinion. Just my thoughts

Wow i would of never thought my question would turn into this, great f'n work newoski

Haha, thanks! I spent a lot of time looking around for something similar. This thread was the closest I found. Never really meant to hijack the thread, or even to take on something this massive, but one thing lead to another...

Thank you all for the great work. I'm currently building a Arcade machine with LED buttons and joysticks. Can't wait.

If you need anyone to try out the video and software for a spin.

I can give it a shot.

Might be able to give an outsiders take on it.

Not to mention I cant wait to try it.

I know with other projects that I have done, its easy to assume that everyone understands what you are explaining, because your so involved with the project.

I also have single color led's, as discusses in earlier threads.

Let me know Newoski.
