The rocket Launcher folder can have implications by placing them all together. As RocketLauncher is now stand alone it also makes sense to keep em sep. This becomes more apparent after you start configuring more and also gives you more options hassle free in the future. Another good idea is to have the emulators in root to keep those free of clutter. So if I was to make another build I normally keep it to... HyperSpin RocketLauncher Emulators Roms All as my root folder structure. But again its all personal taste. The main thing to remember is RL out of HS folder. Don not use anything numerical on the Folder names. But its all up to you how you sort it. As for choosing guide.. all depends if you like to do things visually or verbal... they all get there in the end

MESS and MAME are in fact the same program as of now. they have both builds is one.. called MAME. RA can in fact run MESS and MAME. However RA uses cores, these cores are kinda like the Emulator files it uses to run said emu or core. Problem is that yes, it emulates MESS and MAME. However the builds in the cores in RA have in the past been very outdated. I think its something like MAME 0.38 or something... we are now up to like 0.63 so you can imagine the bugs when running the older versions.

Same with 99% of things around here... if you wait, you may get old and die Hmmm... its must be something silly... a step you have missed. With the New Hyperlaunch the folder structure is slightly dif, unless you change the settings by hand. Have you completed this stage? The only other thing I can think of is go through my vid and see if theres anything that does not match your setup. Im thinking its something to do with folder structure

Im not sure how corretn this is and to be honest I aint even watched it myself. But I did make this yesterday to help someone out. Take a look and see if it helps?? Its for new users starting from scratch. If you want/need me to change anything in it that will help, just let me know. I still have all the bits to make changes I will be adding more details for the GIT updates to HL, problem is that at the time of posting this, the site/links seem to be under construction so I cant give any details. My aim is to get a brand new user up and running with all the systems. Im upgrading all my systems at the moment so it makes good sense to do this at the same time.
