Hello all, just thought I should join in and introduce myself. Have converted one arcade cab using WinXP and Maximus Arcade, having a go at system number two, this time trying Hyperspin as Maximus is no longer supported and I'm having lots of bother with newer MAME builds not reacting to Maximus very well. Once I've got everything up and running fully intend to be a paid up (platinum) member. Other than that, if there is anything you would like to know, don't hesitate to ask (within reason!). Cheers all!

Hello to everyone, First time posting for me. I came here to help with the build of a bar top cabinet for my son's christmas present. I have the cabinet all put together already and have an old dell xps core2 duo with an nvidea GT610 GPU to run it all. I am expecting to have a bit of an effort on my hands to get everything up and running, hopefully Hypersync will sort me out, It looks like it will be worth taking out platinum membership for!

I just opened up an account and thought I'd give a hearty hello and salutation to all! I've been a gamer all my life and it's always nice to meet more who are just as enthused (read: sick) as myself. I look forward to getting to know some of you and although I have always been more of a lurker, I will try to be more outgoing here. -3rdman

So I just recently decided to look into emulation again now that I see there are usable model 2 and model 3 emulators that appear to be close to perfect (better than any ports so far at least). I pretty much have always used snes9x, Gens, and Mame .64 on my PC and retrosnes on the android along with mame4droid. These all work wonderfully especially the more powerful my processors have become over the years. I focus on fighting games and shooters mostly (KI2, MKII, things like that). However, I have toyed around with getting more roms working (maybe 100 working on my MAME PC right now) as well as MVC2 and the like (though I probably need a NAOMI emulator for that? I …

Hello Everyone! Long time lurker, first time poster. I found out about Hyperspin from a friend at Arcade Club in Bury and I've been tinkering away with it while I've been off work after an operation. I have been creating a few wheels for my own system and hopefully I'll upload them once I get the quality of them improved. I would like to say thanks to Simply Austin for his tutorials which helped me a lot and to everyone else who has uploaded their art. You are all amazing. Mekquake

Hi Everyone! I'm new to Hyperspin and started learning how to configure it. I was a long time MAME user and I came across a YouTube video about Hyperspin, It blew me away and I wanted to check it out! My goal is try to get the Taito Type X emulator to work in hyper spin. I heard it was really difficult, but I'm still going through all the tutorial threads on the site at the moment. I wanted to thank all you guys for the awesome tutorials and info!

Hi, I am a 37 year old from Louisiana. Like many here around my age I'm sure, I grew up loving video games (NES, SNES, Genesis, and N64 were my primary systems), and in particular arcade games. I had several birthday parties at the mall, where I spent countless hours playing Rampage, Altered Beast, Final Fight, and Street Fighter 2. I am also a long time consumer of arcade emulation, going back to the early 2000s. I fantasized about being able to play games like Wrestlefest from the confines of my own home, so what you can do today with emulation is right up my alley. So, I've had a modded X-Box with Coinops for a couple of years now, but am ready to go t…

Greetings to the whole community! I am kaori, originally from France. I am totally new to the world of Hyperspin but incredibly attracted! This front-end has awakened in me the passion of retrogaming (nostalgia when you hold us ...). Being a graphic designer, I will not hesitate to do my part to offer more and more content to the community. I hope to converse with you all quickly, in the meantime I must begin to familiarize myself with Hyperspin. Good day to all !

Hello from the middle of nowhere Ontario, Canada. Had a RaspPi3 running RetroPie for the past half a year, and just not happy with sitting at the TV to play arcade games, so, decided to build a cabinet, then somewhere along the line, decided to go PC based instead. Designing the cabinet myself. Full size but trimmed off some of the bulk to make it shallower, and a bit narrower to save space. PC will be a mix-match of new/old parts. Bought a new mATX board with an i3-7100 3.8Ghz and 2x8GB ram. Using my old 550w PSU, 1TB HDD and GTX650Ti-2GB GPU. Plus a 20" 4:3 monitor. Been testing with LaunchBox on my PC (not the arcade hardware yet, that just came thi…

Hello all my name is Clayton. I am 36 and am on my second build. On my last build I did some modifications to an icade and just used a raspberry pi for my system. I am delving deeper into the retro-world with a bartop-2 player and I am going with hyperspin. I am sure I will have many questions along the way and I would like to thank everyone in advance for their help. Special thanks to the builders and software pros. I loved going to the arcades when I was younger and this is such a great project. Thanks again, Clayton

Hello, I figured I would start poking about at the forums. I found this site through YouTube videos by "The AV Archivist". I was trying to find Retropie tutorials, as I have been messing with those little computers for some time. I was frustrated at the Hardware limitations of the pie to play N64 games, and decided to give this stuff a go.

Hey guys, i had an HyperSpin account before, but couldn't remember the username or password so i had to create another one, this was arround 3 or 4 years ago anyway. I have a beautiful 28" arcade, competely restored, I am using hyperspin for a while but i have the dreaful "over 100 video modes" bug . and using magic resolutions is not a solution for me as i want the real CRT look on all games, and as you know magic resoltuions is basicly fitting a 320x240 game into a 640x240 screen , or something like that. Anyway, hopping to keep this frontend with me, i rejoined the group hopping to share my
