got stuck setting up msdos system. i downloaded the exodos roms but the setup files inside are for meagre. where can i get the bat file that makes all the dirs and conf files?

Hi When i load a mame game through mameuifx it includes all of my settings, such as hlsl enable. But when i load a game through hyperspin or rocketlauncher or rocketlauncherui it doesnt have hlsl turned on. I only have a single version of mame set up so i dont see how this is happening. As far as i know all of my paths are pointing to the only mame build i have, and task manager lists the process as the correct mameuifx. Its enables in the mame.ini as well... any ideas?

when i was working on Commodore Amiga CD32 i was adding roms and i started RL emulators for the system. by the way i never got it working. when i on HS it in the task bar but it will not open, i open HQ and it was scrable

Hey Folks !!! i have a Problem here.. when i m playing with a friend 2 Player games on my cab, sometimes when some bottoms press at the same time Mame minimizes and hyperspin is on the Screen. i use win2ipac the set off all the hotkeys.. but Problem still there.. i think maybe that have something to do with Windows and not mame ore HS please help !!!

I have an upright arcade cabinet. When i play a 2 player game like pac man both games only work through the player 1 joystick. How can i set the 2 player games to play player 1 through the left joystick and player 2 through the right joystick. What is confusing is that the controls and buttons for both joysticks are recognized as two separate joysticks when setting up the joysticks via the in game setup.

Hello, I tried to use the search feature and google for this but I think I am wording it wrong so I wasn't able to find anything to help. Hyperspin runs smooth and every emulator runs smooth, but when I go to mame and launch a game it stutters for 1-2 seconds before loading. This is only annoying because it plays the game sound when the game loads and that game sound is also stuttering so when I launch a game it sounds like a techno remix going on for a few seconds. This happens on a setup dedicated to just hyperspin. I also originally tested hyperspin on my personal comp and everything runs smooth with mame's games. So I updated HS to 1.4 and I'm configuring Mame and all paths I believe are set accordingly, but when I load a game in HS it looks kind of 8-bit... not sure what I'm doing wrong at this point? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Left is MAME / Right is HS

Hey Guys I am not grasping this whole wheel thing. I have it set in HyperHQ to wheels only. I have scanned my PSP games and for some reason ones that are not installed but have wheels still show in PSP lists in HS? I have tired ROMS only but it does not even enter the PSP list. I have tried cleaning the media via Rom folder clearner but its not working? How do I show only wheels/games that I actually have the rom for>?

Hello all I am after some help! Its been a while since i last dabbled with Hyperspin and i can see that a lot has changed. However i have followed guides to the letter to get the stuff to work from a fresh install (using nintendo 64) as a starting point and each time i am hitting the same error. I can get RocketLauncher to install and work and launch the roms fine, however as soon as i launch hyperspin I cannot press enter on any of the roms. Nothing happens. The settings.ini file for hyperspin133 is set up to point to rocketlauncher.exe as it should and nothing happens. Any help would be appreciate as i am now pulling my hair out.

Hey So I found a work around for PS2 where it was flashing a window on exit back to HS. I had to turn on BEZELS. I am trying to make a all black bezel but have the screen of the emulator be normal size. I am not understanding how the bezels work and how to resize the emulator screen on to it? I understand they are in media/bezel/sysemname/_default. I placed a black PNG in the folder...... and there is a INI, however It keeps showing the emulator screen tiny. I did use a GBA bezel as a template, but I am not understanding how to enlarge screen? Is there a how to for bezels? Also where do I download them>? thanks jim

I have a wack of PSP games in .cso format.. many work, but others go to a black screen on both Retroarch and PPSSP.... I am guessing those ones that do not work are bad roms? They are all named correctly etc. I find it so frustrating with some of the sets of games not working, then I have to re obtain them to get them to work. Is there a way to scan the games and verify if they are good or bad? That way at least I only have to download the ones that are not functioning? What set is best for PSP -USA? thanks Jim

Hello Hyperspinians, I have been running my HS setup from an external hard drive quite fine without any problems, except for dreamcast and playstation as the PC is a very low profile machine, I have decided i want to upgrade to take advantage of the fantastic dreamcast - gamecube games, I have a fairly decent machine i have purchased with win 10 OS but i have connected my external hard drive to this new PC and changed the relevant settings needed but when i launch HS it loads the wheel but whenever i choose one and press enter, it flickers and reloads the wheel. Hey So I thought PCSX2 was working but now it is not. I run games in RL and it works perfect. But in HS the games load but there is a black screen and the game is heard in the background? Any suggestions? I am running bezels and it almost seems in HS the bezel is overtop of the game.

Hi there, Could you remove the annoying nag screen in Rocket Launcher which says the version is outdated and I should update? because when I click on it, and check for updates, it then says there are no updates. I'm guessing this is a bug. And should be fixed.

Hey Guys, Sooo I think it has to do with xpadder!! When I have it turned off I have no issue.. I attached a video so you can see the issue.. anyone help? I am not sure what the fix is. So I thought I had PS2 working great but it is not. This is the issue. HS loads up full screen, I enter PS2, I hit PS2 game to play in HS. Screen goes black flashes mouse pointer, then loads game. When I exit the game, it returns to HS, flashes black, and shows HS with taskbar on bottom. HS freezes unless I click screen which will then return to HS. The thing I do not understand is. Hi everyone, I've been having a problem trying to set-up my ideal controller configuration which I can't seem to work out. I have a total of 6 controllers which all have their own Xpadder profiles My main issue is that when launching HyperSpin or an Emulator, Xpadder will only load one profile and assign it to all my controllers I have plugged in, resulting in them all having player 1's button config What I really need is for each of them to pick up their own profiles The profile that is applied to all my controllers is also the last one I click on before leaving RocketLaunchers Keymapper section.
