Im trying to make works ePSXe 2.0 with my HyperSpin but the only thing that happens is the next screen: And that's all, the screen stay in that controller image "Standard" and the game don't run. In the emulator all works perfect, the problem is when i try to run the game through HyperSpin. I spend some hours trying to fix this and i can't. I even tried change the emulator ePSXe for RetroArch, but this last even don't works with psx games All the help with this will be very appreciate it.

First, I apologize that I wasn't able to find the answer to this basic question - I *did* search first before posting (but perhaps not well)... I have everything working great currently except controlling the HS UI while in the MAME wheel. I have the following setup: - Two players consisting of 6 buttons each. Controls are mapped using a J-Pac, so I'm not using any other translation software (such as joy2key). I have modified settings within the mame emulator, but I can't figure out how to modify the HS wheel controls. For instance, I'd like to map P1 B2 to pull up the favorites list. Hi, Im editing MAME.xml and i notice that the tags/labels about manufacturer unknown are like this: <manufacturer>&lt;unknown&gt;</manufacturer> This will show this like... <unknown> instead of unknown But my question is, why not just put <manufacturer>unknown</manufacturer>? There is something that im missing about this?

hi all, all of my nintendo wii games are have the 6 character game id naming convention, example CKBE88.wbfs. the nintendo wii xml has real world names. is there anyway to generate a list based on game ID but still have HS show real world game names? thanks

Hi, I have a problem. For some reason my "HyperSpin.exe" is missing, it doesn't show up in my antivirus quarantine section or anything. Normally it wouldn't be a problem, but the thing is that i'm using the 1.2 version, I know it's quite outdated but I've set everything up exactly how I liked a long time ago, and if I got a hold of the file I know it would solve my problem instantly, I'm really happy with my setup as it is. I've searched everywhere I could think of online, (and in a backup I had, too, also missing that file for some reason) and I've still haven't found it, is there a chance someone could send me just the "HyperSpin.exe" file, it would help me so much…

Hi all, I've had Retroarch setup for a week or so and have only just got round to actually playing some games. I loaded up Metal Gear Solid and decided to use the games in-built save facility rather than save states. All was working fine. Created a new game, played it for a few minutes and then saved it. Quit out using a joypad combination and had some lunch. About an hour or so later I launch the same game and the saves aren't appearing. If I look in C:\Hypersin there are two .mcr files: Metal Gear Solid.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.0.mcr and Metal Gear Solid.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.1.mcr I can't seem to find any .srm files anywhere (interestingly, about a minut…

Just set up Monkey Island series. Database is listed as per chronological order of release 1 Secret 2. MI2 3. Curse 4. Escape 5. Tales Shows up in Hyperspin as: 1. Escape 2. MI2 3. Tales 4. Curse 5. Secret I know there is a setting/workaround in RL to change this to force it to list in the order of the xml DB as I have done it for the Broken Sword series but have gone blank on where to find it/how to do it. Any tips to help jog my memory appreciated.

Hi to all, I have some troubles with MAME version 0.139, because can't run in PC (Hyperspin 1.4.0.0 with RocketLauncher 1.0.1.7 and HyperHQ 1.3.0.0) for some reason and I don't know how to fix that. I was looking the .ahk availables and I think that the problem is this, because MAME.ahk was created for versions .160. I hope that someone with knowledge about Autohotkey could create the MAME.ahk for 0.139 (and all neccesary archives) and share here in this thread. Can I get some opinions on which system would be the best performing for a dedicated hyperspin PC build? I have a pre-built Dell with a I3 7300 (dual core) 3.9ghz with integrated Intel graphics, and a homebuilt I5 6600k (quad core) 3.5ghz base, 3.9ghz turbo with a Radeon 7850 (2gb). Thanks.

Hi all, I am relatively new to Hyperspin and have got to the point where I have quite a few systems set up with their respective games. I'd like to get some 2-player action going. I have found the Microsoft 360 wireless pad to work very well for the most part. I don't particularly like the D-Pad but could get used to the analog if necessary for more complicated movements. What I would love is to whip out some old school SNES controllers. The 8Bitdo ones look great but I wondered if there are any major drawbacks to them? I am mainly going to be playing SNES, MegaDrive, NES stuff with perhaps the odd N64 game thrown in. The other option is to just ge…

Hi all, first time poster so apologies if this is in the incorrect section. I'm having trouble with a few ROMs, specifically Sonic ones (Sonic 1, 2 and 3). They simply do not appear in the Mega Drive games list along with my other games. They are .bin files, as are the rest of the Mega Drive roms. Their names are correct and I can launch them from within RocketLauncher. They just fail to appear in Hyperspin. Very odd. Anyone come across this before? Thanks for any help in advance. David

Hello there, I hope, I'm right here with my problem. I'm fresh to the arcade scene, build my first own arcade now from the scratch, having some trouble with my controls now. As the title already telling you, I'm trying to run a trackball AND a spinner simultanously. But it doesn't work. Setup is an Ultimarc U-Trak Trackball and SpinTrak Spinner, both connected to iPac 2 board directly. Other buttons/joystick are connected, too and running fine. Under Windows I can use Spinner and Trackball, mouse pointer is moving around with no problem. So the hardware works. Hello Expert Hyperspin Community, Been having this crazy issue with stuttering during launch of Mame games from the Hyperspin menu. My setup has always done this and I cant figure out why. I'm attaching a video so the stuttering sounds can be heard during the launch of Robotron for example. System specs are very good, core i5 3.5ghz cpu, 16gigs ram, Geforce 1050 Ti video card, ssd c drive and secondary 5tb drive for arcade setup and so on. Everything I throw at this system runs excellent so have no idea why Mame games or any games for that matter would stutter only on the loading / start of the game. Hi I have managed to successfully install the BeebEm emulator, and get all ROMs successfully working from RocketLauncher, absolutely no issues. The system name is "Acorn BBC Micro", which brings the correct system image up, with the BeebEm.ahk as the main module. However, when trying to run the games from Hyperspin, I get the error "Acorn BBC Micro.ahk" cannot be found. It seems the command line in Hyperspin HQ is calling "Acorn BBC Micro", but I cannot change it? I tried changing the system name in RocketLauncher to BeebEm (as this module is in the Hyperspin folders), but I get an error message. Any help gratefully appreciated. Kind regards,

Hi everyone I was wondering if someone would be able to help me with newly downloaded ROMs from the hyper spin hyperlist. As per the video from hyper spin , people should do this from time to time because new ROMs are added so I went to the hypelist I found some ROMs that I didn’t have an copied the xml to my folder where my existing ROMs are. But when I open up rocket launcher all the new ROMs that I just downloaded are in red and its message says that there is no ROM path . how can I correct this ?

Hi Guys, Sorry for the noob questions, I have ordered a pandoras box a couple of days ago and got very dissapointed when I found that there is no mortal kombat II there. so that gave me apetite to build a true arcade machine. I've been playing around with he AppleWin emulator lately, and I've run into a unique issue that seems to be specific to Hyperspin/Rocketlauncher. When I launch the AppleWin emulator via Hyperspin/Rocketlauncher and attempt to hit the space bar in a text-based application (for example, a text-based graphics game), the emulator responds by displaying "f5" versus displaying a space. This only occurs when I launch the emulator via the front end. It does not occur when I launch the emulator and load a .dsk image.
