Hello, I have HyperSpin v1.4 installed with RL running on Win7Pro 64bit. The problem I'm having is when I open HS, select Mame and choose any game a HS window comes up saying 'error cannot find d:\utilities\joytokey\joytokey.exe'. It stops me from getting into the game. I don't use any other consoles/emulators at this time. Mame works fine on its own. Not sure why this error is coming up. I don't want to configure JoyToKey or Xpadder stuff, although in RLUI it appears to be enabled with keymapper. In RLUI >> General Settings > Global > Third Party, I do see JoyToKey and Xpadder Paths listed to the error path, although those paths for some reason…

Hi Guys, I am trying to run the new PGM2 roms but I am having difficulty getting them to work, kov2nl, kov3, orleg2 I currently use MAMEUIFX64 0.154 No Nag Save Hiscore DXinput, but im guessing its not going to run on this? I would like to find a similar build to get the files working in my collection, Anyone got them working? Also have there been any other good mame dumps recently? Best, P

Hi! I´m a recent fan of Hyperspin, and so far have put about 20 hours into getting stuff working. Not quite there yet, unfortunately I have the HFSBOX15K setup on my windows 10 PC (eventually I want it on my Shield Android TV, but first I just want to get something working on PC). Without ANY modifications in any of the settings, I get "Cannot find launcher" error message when starting any game for any system (all else is working in Hyperspin, e.g. all art, wheels, etc.). I have double-checked multiple times that the RocketLauncher.exe file is indeed where all file paths are pointing to, and i just cant understand why it cant launch it. It seems to me…

Hi, apologies beforehand if this isn't worded well, I'm new to this sorry. Im trying to set up my bartop arcade, but for the life of me I can't get the arcade sticks to work in games. i can navigate hyperspins menus and select games etc, no problems there, it's when I've launched a game that I can't move characters? ill use Aladdin as an example on fusion. I can throw apples, jump and swing my sword, but I can't move Aladdin around. i've recently installed a couple of pc games into my setup but when i try to launch them, they open up for about a second or so and then auto minimise. i can get to the game by alt tabbing with my keyboard though. i've read through some solutions but am unable to find the right fix for it. This ONLY happens with PC GAMES and not when im trying to launch mame or ps2 games etc. EDIT : ok this only happens with my ultra street fighter 4 and not my ultimate marvel vs capcom 3 (btw i only have 2 pc games lol). i read somewhere it might be a resolution thing i'm gonna try that

I'm using RetroArch with rocketlauncher/Hyperspin. Every other Retroarch core is working beautifully, but for whatever reason the Virtual Boy core is not passing the controls over, so all i get is the "Please read instructions screen" when i open a VB game. If i go directly to Retroarch and load the game and core..it works perfect, controls are fine. Just not through Rocketlauncher or Hyperspin. Any ideas? I'm kinda lost. I'm using xbox 360 wireless controllers. I'm not using any 3rd party controller software like joytokey

Trackball in Mame is getting "select position to load from" . All other functions are working fine. Trackball works as a mouse outside of hyperspin with no issues. Any suggestions? This is the only thing left to finish this cabinet

Hello, got an issue running some mame games in Hyperspin. I have two mame versions running several games and everything runs good, I'm not running HL or RL the emulators run directly from HS, the problem is when I run some games like Killer Instinct, because de games take to long to load HS looses focus from mame and starts de video preview sounds in the background, so I'm left with the mame game on the screen with no control and the HS video preview sounds in the background. So I was just updating my system and came upon the Gigapig complete system builds with everything already setup so I wanted to give it a try well now it won't run any games except Mame and it seems to have some thing to do with this error. I have tried Retro Arch on its own and it ran with no issue. I also made sure 7z was enabled and turned off fade. ScriptError - There was an error waiting for the window "RetroArch ahk_class RetroArch". Please check you have the correct version emulator installed for this module, followed any notes in the module, and have this emulator working outside your Frontend first. Also turn off Fade to see if you are hiding your problem. …

JUst wanted to ask a question without sounding too complicated. This is the example i will give if I try running 1943 in Hyperspin i get errors like bme01.12d and forces me out of that game, and then I will run another game 1942 and it runs perfectly. And now to really complicate things if I run this ROM through Mame emulator its fine runs as it should. Also, I use mame 1.53 Any help would be appreciated thanks

I've been at this for days and need help. I select a system on the main wheel and enter it. All wheel artwork is showing. The last rom played is showing with the artwork and video playing. As I move through the roms in the selected system no artwork or video is playing or shown. If i exit back to main wheel, then go back in artwork and video works for the first rom. This problem is happening in all systems in the main wheel (about 30 systems). As I go back and forward, All the media is working. Has anyone had this problem.??? Please Help Thanks

Hi there, I have recently purchased a full Hyperspin Arcade system in a full arcade cabinet from a company i wish to not say close to $3000 worth. I was playing it last week for 2 hours switched it off. Came back the next day and the screen says No Signal. I have changed all cables and found out it is the PC itself that is faulty. I have brought my own pc down to the arcade plugged it in and it works. I have sent back the pc to the supplier but no gaurantee its will be back before my big opening day. hi im setting up controls for games in my hyperspin setup and im having a problem with xpadder. on most games that require it im using x360ce to make my controls look like an xbox controller and that works great. but a few games along with hyperspin require keystrokes i tried xpadder but all the effects are global so one game works but then it messes up my controls for all the other games in my cabinet. is there a way to use xpadder for specific games and hyperspin control then shut off automatic when i choose a different game??? sidebar im also trying to use xpadder to bind mouse settings to my joystick for stars wars trilogy in the supermodel emu does anybody know how t…

Hi there, Am fairly new ot the scene... discovered this week that Hyperspin and its amazing. Anyhow, I've started working on my version of it using tutorial on youtube... fairly easy... I've setup Sega Saturn on hyperspin, video and rom and all works perfectly, tried all my games and it worked 1st shot. Hi, I have used HyperSpin on and off for a long time (All on the same machine) and I recently used the hypersync program (Latest version) to download the full nes video snap set with my games, and for some reason alot of them dont show sound when in hyperspin? they all work if i open them with vlc from the media folder where they saved to? Never had this before, any ideas would be great!

Hi all, I am trying to make Hyperspin main menu work with my XBox controller. All the games work fine and even HyperHQ sees it and configures it correctly when I set it up there. Lets me map keys where ever I want to finds the ID, etc. Yet when I run hyperlaunch it doesn't see the joystick. Need some help. Just upgraded my mame cab to win7 pc. Using mame 1.82 and HS 1.3.3.0. I have U360's but when I activate joysticks in Hyper HQ they U360's don't work. I can only navigate the wheel using trackball. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. Is there any way to have hyperspin play a sound as soon as I select any game? I know that there are .\Media\[SystemName]\Sound\System Start sounds to play when I enter a system. Can I do this per game within a system? (hopefully, can I set one default sound to run every time I select a game from any system?) Basically, I want there to be some kind of confirmation/feedback/acknowledgement by HyperSpin that it knows I selected a game.

Since we start from scratch and want to make it simple ( for starters ) we were thinking to just have the sytem name's for example when Nintendo 64 is selected from the wheel the text in the wheel says Nintendo 64 but the background then has a picture of the Nintendo 64 ( we have tried in the wheel a picture of the console but that did not exactly looked good the picture was too big, we could make the picture smaller but we just leave that for now ) when we select a different console from the wheel like the Sega Dreamcast the background changes from the Nintendo 64 background to the background of the Sega Dreamcast we are …

Hi guys, Love this site, absolutely fantastic work. I tried to get into HyperSpin a few years ago but could never get it working and there seems to be a lot more support now, which is great. This can't die! The dream has always been to try and incorporate HyperSpin into Kodi.
