Does anyone know a way to create databases or to set up Hyperspin/Rocketlauncher to only play roms with certain AAMA ratings? I have a pretty decent setup 22 systems and about 40,000+ roms set up in a hyperspin cabinet and I also have a 4 and 6 year old who I like to let play the arcade (as it was built for a family fun time thing) but it has turned into a problem because they seem to always navigate to the WRONG things (Like most kids do). I tried using the "genre" But it just doesn't work the way I would like. I would love to be able to check boxes or set up what AAMA rateings I want to let through and it would automatically filter based on info in the databases. Tha…

Sorry to be a bother but I must be getting old, I'm stuck where we run HyperHQ on initial setup. I get a flag that says HyperHQ must be in the same directory as HyperSpin, which I believe it is! Thank you for any help.

Hi folks, is it possible to create a cross platform genre list in Hyperspin? I a handful of lightgun games spread across PC Games, Mame and Sega Model x - Id like to be able to find them all in a single list off the main menu - everything Ive seen so far tells me that genre lists are submenus of the system - is this still the case? is there a workaround?

Olá, Configurei o Sega Master System assim como os outros, porem quando eu tento selecionar o jogo simplesmente acontece nada ele ignora, e no RocketLauncher abre normalmente, já tentei copiei e acrencentei a linha de parametro no arquivo settins de outro Sega Mega Drive trocando apenas o nome para Sega Master System nas linhas de código e nada "parameters="Sega Master System" -f "D:\Emuladores\arcade\fliperama\HyperSpin\HyperSpin.exe" -p "HyperSpin"

I am new here meaning I know nothing about this program, I am at the point to where I might down load maxous arcade instead. My issue is hyperspin, I have it set up but am having issues, I've read all I can and watched all i can but none of it has worked. I am getting can't find D/rocketlauncher and the rom name and i am having issues with my x-arcade tank stick for the games controls. Again I am not an expert at roms and need help fixing these issues, A step by step would help.

Hi I am trying to get a cabinet working with Hyperspin since upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10 - home edition. Nearly there. Visual pinball just hangs once you have selected the table and won't load. I have set to run as admin and also run in win 7 compatibility mode. It also won't let me exit once it tries to load. If I press alt tab it shows me 2 dialog boxes, one says Preparing table, starting game script and the other says please answer and press ok " ARE YOU LEGALLY ENTITLED TO PLAY" ect. Hi Sorry if this is in the wrong place. firstly, I am very unexperienced at this so please don't hate. I am trying to get a cabinet working with Hyperspin since upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10 - home edition. Hyperspin loads but I get an error saying "Main- Could not install the default font Bebas Neue font because RocketLauncher does not have admin rights. Please browse to F:\Arcade\RockettLauncher\Media\Fonts" Hyperspin and RocketLauncher and all data is on an external drive. Is there a guide anywhere for common bug fixes going from 7 to 10? Anybody seen this prompt in RL? atomiswave works fine in standalone, but RL won't launch it. dreamcast/Naomi works fine in RL with demul but atomiswave is giving me this prompt.

Hello, Im so close to having my cabinet completed, this is my final emulator to set up before i can install my pc into my cabinet. Im having problems when closing the WinKwak Emulator in either SNK Neo Geo, CPS, CPS II. It closes fine out of the emulator skips the "Pause Emulator Before Exit" Screen. When i try to load up another game nothing will happen. I noticed RLauncher.exe still running in the background so i killed it off and it worked. I am unaware of what settings to change to stop this from happening. I am running HyperSpin 1.4 and an updated RocketLauncher. This is the only emulator its happening with. I cant find anything weird on the Logs they look all fine s…

I just migrated drives and I've got this wonderful error again and I can't seem to figure out what the issue is. Rocket Launcher gives me the Cannot find GSDX.ini error. I've got pcsx2 running outside of RL, I have the .ini folder renamed to inis and theres a copy of gsdx.ini in the folder. I searched for the answer already and I can't seem to find anything that helps.

Hey guys I d/l metazolic's mame bezel pack off the emumovies site. After dropping all the zip's in the rocket launcher/media/bezel folder, do you have to unzip them all to work? I followed the setup guide for bezel's , pretty straight fwd but they are not showing up. I am running a lottes shader through arcade64 hopefully that's not hindering it. Setup the hotkeys for switching etc. I was thinking they are not showing up because they are zipped ??

Hi Everyone, Very excited to say that Hyperspin is now fully working and I have synced all artwork, moves and themes with Hypersync, so cool to see it in action!!! Ok, so now I have more specific questions regarding "cleaning up" the wheel, which currently is only a MAME wheel with the 0.175 romset. Before I ask these questions, please note that I used Don's Hyperspin tools list generator to filter my list of games to only games that I had. I did no other filtering. Is anyone else having an issue with Hyperspin playing the new HQ vids that Dammed Registrations made in HyperSpin? I can play them outside HS fine in VLC. It's only happening for the High Quality videos that use the Codec: MPEG Audio layer 1/2/3 (mpga) I'm on win 10 pro x64 with external speakers plugged in.

I have tried to get the module to work, with some games running fine. Hey everyone, I'm working through the process of getting NESiCAxLive setup through HS. I'm aiming to have each game launch separately from the HS database rather than opening the NESiCA launcher. The one problem I seem to be having is with controls; I am using the jconfig.exe fix, and setting the keys in there. However, for a good amount of games, it doesn't seem to be registering. For example, AquaPuzzle seems to take the keys I set there, while Battle Fantasia just ignores the jconfig settings. Has anyone had luck setting controls for these games? Thanks in advance

Does someone know if is there any issue with this 3 games? Ninja Hayate Time Gal Time Traveler I can run all other games, but this. I get this error when look at the daphne log: Unknown game type specified: hayate Bad command line or initialization problem. I realized that in RL modules folder, Daphne.ini doesn't have any reference about this 3 games. Could be this the problem?

Hi Folks - I have to admit, I'm about at wits end with these mapping programs etc. I've been searching forums for days and can not get my setup to work as intended. Clicking links that say follow this etc and finding 404 or that thread no longer exists. Very frustrating. Ok done ranting - here's my info and the problem if anyone can help. Hello there, I need some help. I'm following along with Simply Austin's Tutorials on YT.... A problem I'm having is that as I'm continuing to hand select and download the roms I want and adding them to their respective rom folders... I'm returning to Hyperlaunch to scan for them and the following has occurred; - Sega Genesis automatically found all 174 of my games in the first scan, but as I go to add new games, they don't populate into the list. Hey So I have been playing a lot of emulators on HS lately and noticed a issue. I will be in a game menu scrolling along then the controls suddenly stop working? I try the keyboard and it too stops working.. only way to fix it is to Ctrl+alt+delete and close HS and re open it? Is this a glitch? Can it be fixed?
