Epic Wine Barrel Arcade Machine

After a year of construction, its finally ready for some serious gaming! With the aid of the brilliant Howler PCB i was able to produce a 4 player system with 46 programmable LED buttons. 5.1 surround sound. The joysticks and buttons are placed in a copper sheet coated in commercial grade epoxy to keep the shiny in. This steampunk themed arcade can seat 8 people comfortably around the 1.3m toughened glass table top.

I swear I am not trying to be an a-hole or anything, but my god that might be the ugliest arcade-machine-type-thing I have ever seen, and I mean ever.

 

I applaud you for your effort and achievement — and if you love it, then good for you because at the end of the day that's all that matters, right?  But HO MAN.  YEESH.

Innovative.  I would double take at it when walking into your home bar.  Very non traditional, but pretty awesome.

Love it and the Steam punk theme especially the valves, just don't think the coloured buttons work with it. And the screen gives an interesting slant on things.

 

Now the question is....is the barrel full of Rum, Beer or Whiskey?

So how does two player work? On a normal 2 player arcade game does it simply display the single screen onto both screens?

I love it! Cocktails are easily the best way to play arcade games in the home.

 

I play my Red Tent more than any other game so I think this is a great set up with the dual monitors.
