Which emulator do you use for PSP (Retroarch or PPSSPP)?

Hi guys,

 

Im wondering wich emulator should i use for PSP on HS Android. 

Im using Retroarch at the moment, however most  of the games are lagging. I've tried to run it through PPSSPP but every time i start any game i've got PPSSPP opened without running the game. I've tried PPSSPP the nightly build as well with no luck.

Any suggestions ?

There both good but I think ppsspp is a little more compatible.

I use PPSSPP. PSP is definitely one of my favorites because the Emulation is pretty good and the games are still modern enough (even if dated by today's standards) to enjoy a taste of more current gaming VS yesteryear vintage ARCADES that I normally prefer.

The parameter value is often used by the emulator to pass the actual game rom and path.

Thank you ver much. After i added " parameters=org.ppsspp.ppsspp.Shortcuts" it worked perfectly, however i still can't figure out how to exit PPSSPP using one button like RetroArch. Any ideas ?

Try to use this version os PPSSPP from Simpy Austin. This is the one I use without any trouble. Maybe it could work with yours.

So I have tried using a bunch of different versions of the nightly builds and it just goes to the game select screen of PPSSPP.  Is anyone else seeing this?  It seems the latest versions of PPSSPP do not work with these parameters.  What version were you running these setting with?

Anyone? Lol the core on retroarch hasn't been updated in almost a year so it's honestly garbage. Any game that asks you to load from memory at boot doesn't work / you can sit and wait for the screen to time out because the core can't process those screens correctly. The latest version of ppsspp works great but hyperspin just isn't launching the games correctly. I'm using the exact copy of others settings in this thread with no luck. If anyone has this working and the games actually launch could u tell me the version / nightly build you are using?

Can you please post up some of the settings you have tried (only the top lines down to hyperspin line), links to emu builds if needed. I will give it a play as soon as I get some roms
