If this is a dev and that's the attitude and tech know-how they have its not only the visuals letting that front end down.

In all fairness he was prob crying so hard as I said his front end was still making my eyes bleed over six months after I gave it a trial. In my defence I did not know he was involved.

However as you can see, thus guy is a few spoons short of a tea party and has no idea how to fix simple issues.  This problem was solved years ago and even has featured programs,3rd party drivers and fixes for the problematic ASIO features.

If you was to perform a simple Google its an issue that has been plagueing Musicians and Recording artists for some time.  But no, obviously a 3rd party dev knows far more about front ends and basic programing. Maybe the hyperspin guys should point people there for faults and questions?? Hehe

If you would have just asked nice you wouldn't have got your panties wet?

Anyways, thanks all... I enjoyed the rage feed hehe.

Happy gaming!!

This is simply a public service announcement to use a good frontend if you actually want to play games in MAME as well as possible. It's not a question.

I'm usually pretty quiet on here but you kind of got under my skin a little. You come here telling us to use a better front end and that Hyperspin sucks. My question is, why are you here? Why are you wasting everyone's time with your name calling and your elitist MAME rants? We all like Hyperspin, we enjoy setting it up and it is just a hobby to most. Sure it would be great to have the games running pixel perfect and 100% perfect emulation but as I said, it's a hobby it's fun and you are taking this way too serious dude. Your attitude sucks a lot.

With all due respect to the person who started the thread. Both Big Blue and Mala do not have specific support for ASIO at all.

As far as i can tell the two front ends mentioned are just coincidentally written in a way where they do not conflict with ASIO. This doesn't seem to be some kind of support intentionally written into these frontends to support ASIO. As i already mentioned, other frontends have varying issues with ASIO as well.

Hell, this isn't even a frontend issue. There are a number of programs that do not gel well with ASIO.

You gotta look up his posts and stuff on reddit, YouTube and other forums. He posts nonstop about asio as if it is the greatest thing in the world and how his frontend now "supports" it, like it is the best thing about his frontend . He also shits down people's throats if they aren't in agreement with his thoughts and opinions.

There has been several things over the years that have not worked in HS. And we have circumvented all of them eventually. This is no different. If enough people want it, we will get it to work.

bulbousbeard: You have created a nice frontend, but that doesn't give you the right to act like this. Please be a little civil on these forums. I saw you bashing HLSL and now HyperSpin for lacking support for a MAME variant
