Jay Ace Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 What is the worst game that you have ever come across (E.T. doesn't count) that was so bad you had to play it? For me it has to be Journey! I didn't even know this existed until couple of weeks ago. Can't even fathom who made the decision to release this. I showed it to my lady and she she thought their ship was a hamburger ... LOL! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFksPf8amMs Anyway, what's yours?
rfancella Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 LOL! I would gladly pay you Tuesday, for a hamburger today!!! Ron Code Monkey and all around Command Line geek!If you like what someone has said or done for you, be sure and 'Thank' them. And if they changed your life, send them a Beer!
Kevinlives Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Any of the Swordquest games for the A2600. What in the hell was going on in those games? Dishonorable Mention: 1. Pac Man for A2600. Worst port ever? 2. Dragon's Lair for C64. Another horrible port that was nothing like the arcade. It taught me the phrase caveat emptor. 3. Drakkhen for Amiga. I wanted to like this game. I really did. 4. Illusions for Colecovision. Another WTF is going on game.
Jay Ace Posted October 28, 2013 Author Posted October 28, 2013 Ooooh also discovered this little gem recently:
bandit721 Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Haha...I think Journey had an equally awful 2600 game that I used to play at a friend's house. From what I remember, the manager looked like the Koolaid man
dark13 Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 It was coded with the precise intent to make it "worst game ever"... Automatizing infopanels creation from .csv files for HTPCs themes (look at infopanel tutorial.zip on the ftp in dark13 folder) PNGs to SWFs automatized flash scripts Hyperspin Wheelset automatized template (photoshop's variables + batch) Aeon nox 4.13 W.I.P. hyperspin skin
somail Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Athena on the NES. I can't think of a single positive thing to say about it.
djvj Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 I actually hated and loved athena back in the day. Pretty much impossible to beat. Parsec Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Stroker for the Commodore 64. Not gonna post the link but look it up.
rfancella Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Wow!!! Really Parsec? My girlfriend at the time loved that game. Same for Sex Games for the C64. Jay Ace Posted October 30, 2013 Author Posted October 30, 2013 Oh geez I remember some of those C64 games. Postman Pat on ZX was pretty terrible but I played the crap out of it.
joe35car Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 I remember playing Journey at the arcade when it came out and it was hard to control in my opinion.
Eminem Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 I was first introduced to this game by a friend and thought it was the best thing since sliced bread.... Action 52, now this intro was the bomb overhyping the 52 games, thinking this would be the one game to rule them all, It was a ridiculious rip off of other 32 in one games, and by far the worst set of games i've ever played on an NES cartridge... The concept was neat, each game was either impossible or boring as fuck....
