KrillCaz Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 That should be easy I know. If I had the skills to make it up to par with the current Unified Mega themes, I'd definitely do it. Just use the green, android robot as the mascot and an android phone/tablet as the system.

It's amazing how many people here just wait for everyone else to do work for them. I only know a few basic feature of Photoshop and how to import and export files in flash, yet I'm capable of creating this stuff. No reason why anyone else cannot other than pure laziness.

All the handheld systems in the unified theme follow what you just did there. Is it available for download yet?

No reason why anyone else cannot other than pure laziness. Well, for me the problem is I only have Photoshop, so I don't have any way of exporting it to flash. So, I gotta hope someone makes Naomi, Atomiswave, Model 2 and Model 3 themes.
Styphelus Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 I attempted to make some themes for Atomiswave and Model 2 and 3 but they are not good enough to post here. Maybe Gibbawho can provide some guidance on how he sees them being done. For Mame he used an actual arcade cabinet. Is that how he would do them? These systems don't have an actual console and controller like the unified themes do so one side will either be blank or we can just add characters around the window or we can modify his Mame cabinet (which is what I did for the systems mentioned above but I'm not too happy with). I think maybe they should be done with the standard video window and characters on both sides. Getting art work for those systems is also an issue. I was trying to create one for pinball as well but that's another can of worms for someone who is not creative like me. I can throw the ones I have on my FTP folder this weekend if anyone wants something temporary until Gibbawho creates some proper themes.
OneBadVeggie Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 I think the best idea would be to look at the Daphne theme (I think Gibbawho made it, right?) that was made seeing as it's also an arcade emulator. Just video in the middle, background, and two relevant characters on the sides. I think I'm actually using your Atomiswave theme at the moment, and I think it looks nice. But personally I would replace the Atomiswave machine on it with another character, like the Daphne theme. But yeah, upload the one's you've got. I'd use them.
