I didn't get a chance to upload this stuff on the weekend as promised. It's on my FTP folder. They are 1920x1080. If anyone prefers a higher res like Unknow's themes I can hunt down for the PSD files and upload them as well. I didn't post these before because the artwork on Model 2 is not mine. I took it from some themes on the network. I don't know who the original author was. If he doesn't want his art being used, he can send me a PM and I'll take it down. I couldn't find any decent artwork for that system.

ScummVM and Sinclair ZX Spectrum - Main Menu and System themes on my FTP folder. Sega Naomi and Tyto Type X are next on the list.

It's great to see the ZX Spectrum getting some love on here - thank you! It would have been great to see an iconic Spectrum character in the theme though. Perhaps Sabreman, Miner Willy or Jetman would be better examples?

I used Bombjack! That was one of my favorite Spectrum games growing up and since Gibbawho had added it to one of his themes, well...why not use it? If you can find any other decent artwork, post it here and I can add it in as an alternative.

I though about using this one but the artwork is from a recent version of the game:http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20080901224001/rare/images/1/1d/SabremanSW.jpg

Sorry, but I gave up on those. The wife was against me building a cabinet so I had to settle for the widescreen TV in the living room. Feel free to modify the themes to fit 4:3. I will post the PSD files tonight.

Great Sabreman imagery and although not from 1984 is instantly recognisable to ZX Spectrum fans. I loved the Bombjack conversion too ;-)

It has been a while, since I last added ANYTHING of interest, and I wont be breaking that strike with this post. I have been stumped with layout of certain themes I as working on so I decided to just leave it and do something else.. like actually getting hyperspin to function instead of look good :P now that that is done . I started out retracing my steps of these past attempts at mega theming. And I'm currently working on a blog post here on Hyperboard. It's a step by step guide making themes using photoshop and flash.

and on the way I've finished up a couple of themes. that I will be posting on the FTP later today. So there ya go :) by the way Styphalus good job on the themes. I really like em :)

Yeah, I've been meaning to post a new Theme for Taito Type X. It's complete but I've been working long hours at work and haven't had the chance.

If it looks anything like the atomiswave it will be awesome. I'm using your spectrum theme :) which would be even more awesome if it had an animated background.

I uploaded to the ftp in the submission section of the unified mega theme folder.

I submitted the following themes with animated background

Microsoft ms dos

Commodore 64

NEC Pc Engine

Nintendo Famicom

Nintendo super Famicom

looks great much better then the old one in my oppinion only you should have added the video in the screen but oh well my suggestion would be otherwise for ones with out videos in the screen jus add some display to them like maybe changing game snapshots or something.
