Thanks brolly but the shader only seems to work when this game is set to windowed, the full screen bezel option works but the window frame is still visible and is visible when a bezel is used as well.

Do you have bezels enabled? If you do you should never be seeing the window frame, shaders won't work at all if you disable bezels the fake fullscreen option is a trick to allow you to play a game fullscreen by faking a bezel.

Bezels are definitely on.

All seemed good in the log and I just gave it a try and the problem comes from the game, AHK doesn't seem to be capable of hiding its border and title I'm afraid at least not the usual way.

We will see if we can find an alternate way of doing it, can't promise anything though.

What about putting the window hiding commands in the launcher script I suggested? Doing it that way rather than the built in code in RL might work no?

Ew plz share the bezel! Shader too set up if you get it working

 

If only everyone was so easily pleased ;) The bezel was just a quick mock up to use while getting it working.

Nope, the game doesn't respond to those commands otherwise it would have worked through RL as well since that's exactly what RL uses.

Anyway I already found a way of hiding the title bar and border, but this will require some changes to the core RL code and some extensive testing to ensure everything is still working fine with the rest of emulators/games. We'll see if this can make it in time to the next update.

Yea you're right....tried it yesterday morning and it doesn't work. That command I got from the older modules always worked with anything I threw at it.

Rather than change the entire RL code just for that one game, can you post the code you used to maybe create a launcher if we want to add it?

Guys even at this point since the developer is still updating it maybe one of us can ask him to add this feature? Some filters would be nice.

I can't decide which is worse. Playing it with no shader and having it look like a steaming pile of nasty pixel turd burglers.

Or using Giga's shader bezel, but having the hellishly ugly windows bar showing...

So I just decided to delete the game instead.

Maybe I should send him hate mail and a picture of Giga naked too(?)

Not possible because this will now be dealt by the DLL and not in AHK as I couldn't find any way of getting to work in AHK.

weird issue you all. it works fine outside of RL but as soon as I add it and try launching through RL or hyperspin I get an error saying that I need to change the game to 16 bit color or 32 bit color. I tried moving compatibility to 16 bit color, tried compatibility to win 8 etc. Not sure why it is requesting different color when I launch through rl. so so sad

And that error comes from where? Windows, the game or Rocketlauncher.

When launched through rl I get the error from I think the game. In the top right corner I see the name and icon so it must be from game. The only thing is when I launch from the exe I get no error and can play it. When from rl I have to push ok and the game doesn't populate. I've tried compatibility mode for Windows 8, tried different resolution, tried compatibility color 8 and 16

Super weird. I'm on Windows 10 and using the v1.1 update
