He made hyperxmlspin which is great for what it does however it doubles your video, theme and wheel size to display the art. I'm trying to get him requirements for a light weight search app but I havnt heard back from him yet

It's my tapatalk signature to automatically get the word out to put thinks on the download page. Ftp is read only and they want everything on the download page. 9/10 the automatic reply makes sense [emoji1]

Heh I see you are finding workarounds for my workaround app. I also see there is a new version of Hyperspin so I guess this would be a good time to fix my bugs.

Can someone please give me a run down of the main issues?

Rocketlauncher has a new path/name. It would be great to support rocket launcher (new name of hyperlaunch) while also allowing to still be compatible with hyperlaunch. The path to the exe shouldn't be hard coded rather it would be better to look at and ini file like ghutch is doing with his multi startup script.

Needs the ability to view png and MP4 and flv for the video preview.

Would be nice to have a hotkey to minimize the search app. I always have problems with backing out of it or closing it completely down by accident. I run this with hyperspin using ghutch start up script so I don't want to close it, just hide it after a curious search

First of all, this is a great app

 

Used it for a while now, without any problems, but now i get this error when i'm loading a game:

• New config key LauncherExeName . The default is still HyperLaunch.exe
  e.g. <add key="LauncherExeName" value="RocketLauncher.exe"/>
• New config key, no longer runs off the Hyperspin setting..just easier.
  Can be either an absolute or relative path
  
  <add key="LauncherPath" value="C:\RocketLauncher\RocketLauncher.exe"/>
   
• Added support for .pngs. So if .mp4 and .flv are not found it looks for a .png
• New config key MinimizeKey
  e.g. <add key="MinimizeKey" value="OemTilde"/>
  
  For valid values see https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.windows.input.key%28v=vs.110%29.aspx
  NOTE: If you configure this key the window will not be recreated every time your press the search trigger.

For some people the QWERTY keyboard layout doesn't load right.

 

If that happens try using this styles file.  On my machine it fixes the keyboard layout.

Yes just hit the search key again and it should bring up the previous search window...in what ever state you left it

You can customize styling and fonts...almost everything by editing the xaml styles.
