rfancella Posted August 15, 2014 Author Posted August 15, 2014 16:9 logo only bezels for NEC PC Engine and Mattel Intellivision in _HyperLaunch Media/Bezels/Submissions Open/KnewlifeAlso rfancella, if you can, please check those Fade Screens in _HyperLaunch Media/fade/Submissions Open/Knewlife folder, they have been there for some time: Looks like my ALG fade layer 1's are still sat in open submissions So as punishment I've added more to /Upload Here/_HyperLaunch Media/Fade/Submissions Open/gigapig for the following systems. Commodore Amiga Mame Pinball FX2 Sega Saturn And _Default with a bunch of fade out screens (Game Over) Here's a few examples. Ok, so I guess we shall use the same example as for the bezels in respect to naming. Unless someone has an objection. Here is an explanation of the layers: Layer 1.png (This would show as the background image)Layer 2.png (This is a static image, and can be placed anywhere around the screen) Layer 3.png (This is a dynamic image of which can have an animation applied to it) Layer 4 (#).png (This is a set of images, when played, create an animation. One image = 1 frame. Frame 1 = "Layer 4 (1).png", frame 2 = "Layer 4 (2).png", and so on.) Layer -1.png (This would show as the background image during Fade_Out) So the naming convention will be (except Layer 4): "Layer {Layer #} -[ {Aspect Ratio}][{ Unique Description}] ({User}).png" Also, the aspect ratio for Layer 2, Layer 3 & Layer 4 may not apply. Amended: For all Layer 4 art: "Layer {Layer #}[ ({Animation #})] -[ {Aspect Ratio}][{ Unique Description}] ({User}).png" Note: Please note the spaces. Braces without brackets are a required field. Brackets and everything in them are optional. Examples: Layer -1 - 4x3 AAE (YourName).png Layer 1 - 16x10 asteroid (Someone).png Layer 4 (1) - NES (ScreenName).png Layer 4 (2) - NES (ScreenName).png Layer 4 (3) - NES (ScreenName).png Looking for some input from all of you. Thanks, Ron Code Monkey and all around Command Line geek!If you like what someone has said or done for you, be sure and 'Thank' them. And if they changed your life, send them a Beer!
bleasby Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 I remember reading something about a sequence number for some of the layer images. Can anyone shed some light on these? Layer 4 could have a additional term in parenthesis to define the sequence of the animation showed. So only for this layer the name convention should be something like this: "Layer {Layer #} ({Animation #}) - {Aspect Ratio}[{ Unique Description}] ({User}).png" You have that info on this site: https://sites.google.com/site/hyperlaunch2/home/features/fade Layer 4 (#).png (This is a set of images, when played, create an animation. One image = 1 frame. Frame 1 = "Layer 4 (1).png", frame 2 = "Layer 4 (2).png", and so on.) I am perfectly fine with this naming convention for fade layers. It should work without problems, but if you spot any limitation let me know and I will see in what I could help. By the way, one important thing. Thank You Very Much for everybody that posts arts for bezels and fade screens!!!!! Giga, I loved the donkey kong fade exit screen. Grizz it is amazing the amount of stuff that you shared with us in such small time. Knewlife, it is nice that you joined the bezel party. And thks also to other users that shared their creations with us. Also a special thanks for you again rfancella. Organizing this stuff is not an easy task, and most of the time is not given the deserved credit. Thank you for making yourself responsible for that and doing such a nice job! When asking for help for RocketLauncher, POST ON THE RLAUNCHER.NET FORUMS! Also, please post your RocketLauncher.log with logging level set to troubleshooting in pastebin (set the log level in RocketLauncherUI, global system > General Settings -> RocketLauncher). Ass. gigapig Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 It takes little skill to do what I do. We are all cogs in the machine. Your skills Ron, however small you think they are, have been invaluable to me, and I'd still be plodding along with the Mame Bezel Project, if it weren't for your good self.

relic Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 i have some great news thanks to grizz and rfans support we now have a 16x9 16x10 and 4.3 bezel for game gear - the problem is cause everyone has a diffrent type of screen in size and length even if its just a standard or wide you still need to make adjustments to them which im gonna learn right now so i can help out with 4.3 heres my test result for the 4.3 nes bezel with retro arch the screen is fixed now on mine - 100%
Grizz Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 if u use my personal custom.zip for AAE, you will have a pretty cool looking..almost bezel-less version of a few games, tempest...quantum..etc.. these are mockups just to show how they look! if u like it..let me know i can have ron put on ftp.. i will be redoing the aae bezels for hyper launch. just going to use the great artwork that is already out there.. will just be doing them for all 3 aspects and so that hyper launch uses them instead of using the built in feature in aae :] snapshot of space duel bezel below also :} check the pics
